Ah the good old EVGA ignoring the UK. Thats when my love for EVGA stopped. I think i had a card on pre order with them for almost 3 months before cancelling it. They just kept sending the cards they made to the US.

I was longer than that before I gave up. And yes they may be American but other US companies dont treat the UK the same,

Since then they have closed the UK offices and customer services and even the UK EVGA twitter feed hasnt been updated for almost 18 months.

I will be surprised if anybody in the UK get an EVGA 3080 before Xmas.

Final nail in the coffin for anybody left still buying EVGA is that the step up program is no longer valid in the UK since we have left the EU.

I got my MSI Trio order in at 14:33:31.... as soon as I could.
Wonder how deep into the 1600 pre-orders.... Guessing I'm not gonna get a card anytime soon.

The complaint about OC is completely warranted. They took 2 hours to take money from Paypal, and took £50 more than the item checked out for in my case, yet still have the cheek to say they've not processed payment on my order page.

Jeez, £50 more? Suspect they increased the card price as you checked out and their system couldn’t differentiate an existing order. #OnlyAtOCUK

I would fully expect an online company as big as OCUK would host their webservers on AWS or Azure. They have the ability to scale up or down based on customer demand. The site should NOT have gone down.
Now, if they are hosted on a server in some managed hosted site, then they deserve everything they get

They are still tiny compared to lots of companies using big cloud providers. You can guarantee they’ll be using some cheap, antiquated provider...

Yeah its a shame as i used to buy 100% EVGA before. But they have gone downhill the last 4 years and dont care about the UK at all now.

Gave up trying to order from OcUK, got to payment processing and kept crashing down.

Finally got an order for the Zotac elsewhere, again it was a struggle but patience paid off with a confirmed order at 14:18pm.

Currently my order is awaiting picking, however not holding my breath but prepared to wait if needs be.

Plus it as £10 cheaper than OcUK, now prices have shot up!

Suspect I ordered from the same place for the same reasons. Also awaiting picking. Confirmation screen said 24th, but like you I'm not holding my breath
