** NVIDIA RTX 30 SERIES NOW ONLINE AT OVERCLOCKERS UK (3090 / 3080 / 3070) **

Why are these clowns still taking pre orders??? They even said themselves there has been 30,000+ orders and the quantity is very small, will only increase slighty in the coming months.

Greed friend. I dont think anyone is happy to pay £700 now and receive the item in December or later unless you have money to spare. It will only worsen the situation if they dont stop, however they dont seem to realize it.

because people still want to pre order cause they will probably still get a card quicker than preordering from somewhere else perhaps?

because the 2000 people with pre orders in front of you have to get their cards first. Yes every stockist may be getting some cards every week. Doesn’t mean any of them will ver go up for sale

And what's to say out of those 2000 people that 200 of them were bots with over 20 graphic cards preordered? Because those scalpers are selling on ebay right now. OCUK should have had some kind of system in place because peeing off your real customers is much worse than peeing off scalpers.

Given the 3080 paper release has been pretty non existent for most people and vendors literally struggling to deal with the insane demand for this card - mainly due to the absence of any real stock - anywhere, what hope is there for 3090 buyers? I always planned to go from 2080Ti to 3090 and don’t mind paying the Msrp as the funds are here and ready. But after all the price gouging and headaches over the past 2 days felt by many here and elsewhere, I’m keen not be drawn into paying close to £2k for a GPU. Hoping for less demand on the 3090 to make the buying process a little easier. With Gigabyte slipping details on a 20gb 3080 earlier today this might be the middle ground worth waiting for....?

I saw similar numbers on another review, cant remember where it was, tempted to say Nexus but not sure.

EDIT: Der Bauer looks at it also and loves the card.

EDIT2: remembered its Hexus that review the OC version and the numbers look stellar.
They say in the conclusion:
Thoroughly reasonable on the value front for a mid-OC effort, we'd actually veer away from this model and choose the non-OC version that is identical in every way apart from the relatively small overclock, saving yourself £40 for investment in a triple-A title or two.

Which is the version i have ordered, the standard one, still not sure why those minimums look a bit off sometimes in that guys video though

Ok right you are correct I'm the ******** to expect what I paid for. I saw that delivery before 12 the next day option on the item 10+ in stock and I thought yeah I'll order that and buy that and yes I'm the stupid one for expecting overclockers to not offer things they don't have and time scales they can't meet.

I really should have put that item in stock 10+ in my basket and paid for delivery and then phoned my boss for the 8th if January 2021 off shouldn't have i. What was I expecting ? So silly of me .

Sorry for moaning, I'm just being silly .

Y

Nah you aren't the crazy one here.

Gibbo has already said that after the 3080 yesterday he will not be selling any 3090 at MSRP :(

I have also seen on Nvidia forums that they sold out worldwide of 3080FE within minutes and currently they have no date as to when they will have more stocks! Really starting to believe the crap that they just built a few so they could call it a launch.

since 3080 are just failed 3090 chips and there is sure to be more failed than passed I reckon 3090 stocks will be even less than 3080 stocks.

Pure greed, they've got millions of pounds of people's money with no chance of fulfilling all the orders any time soon, but it's earning them interest. To top it off they've also gouged the **** out the cards they haven't even got. A win all the way around for OCUK, their customers - not so much.

sure, at what price ? £900?

They should state that stock is very low and likely that it will be December before they get the graphics card. Anyone disagreeing with that is just a pure shill for them.

I'm sure advertising something as " in stock 10+ " when you know you have none and taking literally thousands of peoples money is illegal. Trading standards or even watch dog would be happy to hear from me I'm sure .

And when I order something in the morning to be delivered the next day and the site says confirmed and it was confirmed in my orders in my account . Doesn't leave me much time to wait to see if I'm being lied to first before i ask the boss for a day off does it? .

Then go do it, complaining here carries zero weight.

Start a civil claim if your consumer rights were broken, talk to your MP to legislate in Parliament against profiteering in online retail etc etc

Was never going to either, the whole launch has been a scam from start to finish, from marketing to the Papere launch with retailers and NV hand in hand gleefully taking advantage of naive consumers with believe what they want to believe and have no resetraint when shiny things are waved under their noses at inflated prices.
