** NVIDIA RTX 30 SERIES NOW ONLINE AT OVERCLOCKERS UK (3090 / 3080 / 3070) **

Did anyone go for the Aorus Master then? That was my first choice and I was hoping Gigabyte would at least give a timescale at the livestream yesterday (which they didn’t).

I’ll keep an eye for when they do and keep my order until anything is announced. The only reason I would cancel this order now is if another retailer offer it cheaper, but I feel it’ll release around the £800 mark

Wonder if I should cancel my order and look for one in stock, or if I'm better sitting tight waiting in a queue?

There wont ever be one in stock anywhere until january, If you cancel your order with OCUk you will then have to join the back of a queue with somebody else.

What isn't legal? We all ordered pre-orders, with the understanding that stock was scarce, and refunds are being offered for people that want to cancel?

OCUK could have communicated things a lot better, but this is hardly some unique scenario or some insidious conspiracy like some people seem to believe

I get that people are disappointed and frustrated, I am as well, but I think some people need some perspective. We're all in a position where we're fortunate enough to be able to spend £700+ on some enthusiast computer hardware in the middle of the biggest financial and employment crisis in modern UK history. That doesn't mean that people can't want clearer answers or better customer service, but people need to step back I think, it's not even like they're the only ones it's happened to

Why January? Apparently stock is getting replenished quite often but small volumes and October is expected to have enough supply, I'm hopeful end of October

I never pre ordered anything. I bought an "item in stock" I could have got a card else where but my order was confirmed and my payment was taken . I even paid extra for it to arrive before 12. I took the day off work. Waited patiently for my delivery and then at 3pm 3 hours after my card was to arrive I received an email thanking me for my " pre order" I then phoned to ask what was happening and sat for an hour and 40 mins listening to get phone ring just to be hung up on.

Every other retailer I've ever had anything similar to this happen before has refunded me instantly. And I could have bought a card elsewhere if OC had been honest.

My time is money, especially during a global pandemic.

Don't sell me something in stock then charge me for fast delivery then thank me for my pre order 3 hours after the item was supposed to arrive,
what a shambles

Hey guys. Decided to cancel order for Eagle Rtx 3080 Gigabyte which was plan to deliver after next monday. Will be buying Rtx 3090 . Currently have Aorus 2080 Ti Waterforce so i can wait.

If you want a refund then hit the link in Gibbo's post at the top of the group.

If they had 'refunded you instantly' you still probably would not have got a card elsewhere and you'd be complaining that you'd lost your place in the queue because they had automatically cancelled your order...

Nothing about yesterday was ideal, that's for sure, but there was also nothing that you are going to be able to report to anyone and be taken seriously.

Your money is waiting for you to request it back if that is what you want, or if you really do want the card then your best bet is to sit tight as you are probably close to the front of the queue if you managed to get an order in right at the start but just missed the stock.

If you decided to 'stay at home' and not work today then that is on you, as you had no shipping confirmation and no tracking number...

When I looked every single card was on pre order so I'm not sure where you saw item in stock? OCUK even stated that the ones which were in stock would be set to pre order at launch so people buying them and getting beaten to the checkout wouldn't find themselves in the situation you claim to be in.

I can confirm they were advertising cards as In Stock later in the day.

I would never have ordered one if I thought I wouldn't get one at least next week, now they have my money and I have no card.

It is not unreasonable for us to expect to receive a product that is "In stock - 9+"

I had a card available at my local Curry's. I could e walked in and got it. I also had one in my basket with scan. Decided to go with oc's out of loyalty.

And I'm not lying. They had 10+ of my card in stock apparently

because the 2000 people with pre orders in front of you have to get their cards first. Yes every stockist may be getting some cards every week. Doesn’t mean any of them will ver go up for sale
