** NVIDIA RTX 30 SERIES NOW ONLINE AT OVERCLOCKERS UK (3090 / 3080 / 3070) **

@Gibbo Thanks for the further info. If you are ultimately able to share overall 3080 stock levels, ignoring individual brands, that would be good. I'm open to most brands so it is more that I just want to know if I've a chance of buying stock on the 17th, rather than any particular one.

Nope they take their time and is always the case and we’re relying on staff for AIBs in our regions some are better than others.

Plus sharing numbers when I get them is shunned upon by manufacturers on a public forum.

If I say brand X is giving us 1000 then competitors complain to brand X as to why we’re getting so many.

If I say brand X is giving us 10 units then everyone complains.

plus anything I say here tends to go viral and it’s just not worth the hassle it brings us at times.

So numbers won’t be released on forum in short term until we know the true picture and then and only then If the manufacturer is happy for us to share that information.

OcUK gives customers way more information than any competitor and interacts with customers more but at the same time we have to play the balancing act keep you happy and keep our suppliers happy. Of course we can’t please everyone, we just do our best. :)
Fair enough Gibbo :)

I know you confirmed the Watch Dog game comes with all the cards, can you also confirm if the GeForce Now 12 month sub comes with them also? Basically same as what Nvidia are offering when you buy from them direct?

I am waiting for reviews so for me it is either the Zotac 3080 you have listed or the 3080 FE as they are the same price and come with the same freebies. Well tell a lie, the FE won’t come with haribo Haha.

I hope you are taking measures to make sure the site does not go down on the 17th ;)

Finally if I do go for the Zotac from OcUK, will it be posted out the same day for delivery on the 18th?

Make sure you get it added to pages in the free stuff section to make it clear :)

I just added this to the last post, you probably missed it:

What are you expecting him to say? If he said stock levels where 5,000 units across the board then what would that even mean to you?

Just wait and see, that's what he's saying.

Its the fact that the FE 3090 is not only 12.4 inches long but 5.4 inches wide! These cards are huge.

I would expect some AIB cards to be even bigger.

I guess so, the 3080 dimensions for it are:
  • ASUS ROG Strix: 318.5mm/2.75 Slot (57.8mm)
Surely the 3090 can't be even BIGGER than that?!

The 3080 Strix is listed as

12.53 " x 5.51 " x 2.27 " Inch

the Asus strix 3090 is listed as

12.53 " x 5.51 " x 2.27 " Inch

So likes like they are using the same cooler on both. Asus lists them as 2.9 slots. The TUF cards are smaller in all dimensions and are only 2.7 slots.

Just wait and see, that's what he's saying.

If he said they expect to have stock on 17th, that would be useful. If he says they expect to have whatever they consider to be a good stock level, low level for X weeks etc, that would all be useful information. I am not looking numbers per say (as you are clearly suggesting, that means nothing to me), just an indication of availability. Ocuk will know what high/low availability looks like. It will influence whether I sell my current card before or not, which is important given it's depreciating in value quite quickly.

They're not just huge, they're incredibly power hungry. 350W for the 3090, and 320W for the 3080. AIB cards will no doubt be higher than this, as these are the founders edition numbers.

I'm most likely getting a 3090 on release, though I do wonder just how much more efficient TMSC's 7nm process is, as this is what RDNA cards will be built on. That said, I highly doubt RDNA2 will be anywhere as efficient as Ampere, so I doubt the process advantage will amount to much in real terms. Drivers considered as well.......
