** NVIDIA RTX 30 SERIES NOW ONLINE AT OVERCLOCKERS UK (3090 / 3080 / 3070) **

Some of the prices have already changed since posting their main thread - I thought the Strix was bad enough at £799, now it’s £849!!
This is why founders edition exist, I don't think it does Nvidia any favours when you have AIB partners taking a reference board and upselling it to that level. The only justification would be guaranteed availability, long warranty and genuine binned silicon but instead all you seem to get is a decent cooling solution (but nothing really special) and a ton of branding/marketing.

Asus are crafty imho they know damn well there will be supply constraints and people will pay the upsell to get the product, crap for the consumer but good for business I guess.

Dont forget the $699 price set by Nivida for their FE already includes a $100 premium for the FE. AIB boards are meant to start at $599 upwards.

I think there is only one board from an AIB cheaper than Nvidia's FE so far.

You could therefore argue that AIb boards should start from £570 and Asus is wanting £279 for it being an Asus card.

I'm hoping to get a 3080, just hoping it will fit in my TU150, currently my Gigabyte 2070S Winforce OC fits ok, it can be a bit longer but not much wider due to my slim intake fans just below.

Sorry if it's been asked a million times, but when is NDA lifted so reviews will be available?

They're not just huge, they're incredibly power hungry. 350W for the 3090, and 320W for the 3080. AIB cards will no doubt be higher than this, as these are the founders edition numbers.

I'm most likely getting a 3090 on release, though I do wonder just how much more efficient TMSC's 7nm process is, as this is what RDNA cards will be built on. That said, I highly doubt RDNA2 will be anywhere as efficient as Ampere, so I doubt the process advantage will amount to much in real terms. Drivers considered as well.......

Indeed, some 3090 AIB boards already look like they are going to be 500W cards.

Gibbo just a heads up you've got a picture of the FW3 for the iXC3, also its written as iCX3 on the OCUK page but iXC3 on the EVGA product page.

Is there different coolers for the UK region or is it just down to early release details just getting something on the page preliminarily?

I usually buy Gigabyte. You like Zotac because of the extra warranty?
Extra warranty, likely better cooler too, but will have to wait and see about that. I certainly like the look of the Zotac cooler more anyways.

But as I say, I may just go for the FE. It is slowly growing on me, so will depend on its performance and acoustics.

You can upgrade the EVGA warranty to 5 years for 25 euros, or 10 years for 50 euros

Yea but no UK RMA centre and I hear their customer support is not what it used to be. Seen some threads where people were very unhappy, so not touching them.

Man the price of the 2080ti has plummeted...In all my experience I dont think I have seen such a drop before.
I've seen price drops on the used Market of course, but not this big....An EVGA 2080ti on MM is not getting any sniffs for £499

Got to be mad buying old second hand tech at £499 when a brand new 3070 is cheaper though no?

Personally I like the way they build out their custom boards and the software that goes with it over other vendors and have friends who've had great first hand experience with them. Plus who knows, if AMD trades some big blows (who are we kidding) in November, I could always use the step up program to go to a 3080ti if nvidia is forced to pump one out!

Very speculative I know, if Ti's exist its gotta be at least a year I guess.
