I think it’s bad that OCUK take your money as soon as you preorder, I really do. There’s absolutely no reason for it, particularly when they can’t even tell you when you’re going to get it.

My 8% discount through work, and 2% cashback means I could get my takeaway order for as little as £585.00.....I have a nasty feeling that my order won't be on time.

Even tho I can get a discount from this takeaway.

I'll still be buying from OC UK, as they have a great after service. And they are most likely to have stock on the day of release.

im really leaning toward the FE too. If the cooling/noise is as good as they claim, it'll probably be the one I go for, otherwise I'll probably get the EVGA.

Its midnight for the FE isnt it? So stay up and order an FE on the 17th at 12.01 and then order from OCUK at 2pm. Keep the one which arrives first.

I'm still thinking to go with the Asus TUF 3080, I like that is has a a switch on the card for 'Performance Mode / Quiet Mode'.

If having 2 HDMI ports is important, it also seems a good choice.

I like the fact it has a full aluminium shroud as well.

Remains to be seen, as with all the new cards, how good the cooling solution is.

I've always been happy with OCUK too. I'll happily order with them as long as they dont gouge or creep prices up! I'm perfectly perfectly happy to buy an FE this time around if i sense jiggery pokery.
