NVIDIA RTX 3080Ti to launch in January 2021?

It used to the case that a new high end card would be exciting, doing you research, decided If it match’s the theme of the build, unboxing whilst muttering “what a beast” and then enjoying the extra performance. All gone.

What’s the point of releasing a new product if you can’t buy it. You may as well release 6095Ti super turbo super eco 3000 mk9. Whoop die do.

so founders edition rrp 750 or will nvidia go all out and hit £1k for it and then 3rd party cards start at £1200+ with the current environment.

10months or so for 1080 to 1080Ti and I think similar (without looking it up) for 2080 to S or Ti''s.

I do not see a 4000 series in only 12months.

"Around the corner" is at least 12 months away. We start getting rumours about next gen cards many months before they're announced and we haven't got Jack squat rumours for RTX4000 yet - and if we don't have rumours it's not because Nvidia is suddenly super secret and tight lipped, it's because whatever their next card is is so early in its design that there is nothing to leak

But the 3080ti is old news

in new news, kopite says Nvidia is bringing the A100 to miners soon and will offer record breaking performance. With its insane memory bandwidth, it's expected to produce an ETH has rate 50% higher than the rtx3090 which brings it up to 180MH/s

Exactly. Even if the current dire market situation and silicon shortage was not in effect then no rumours means it is not on the horizon.

Can't see miners going for this, if it's anywhere near it's current pricing.

Realistically, it's going to be less than a third to be worth it.
