NVIDIA RTX 50 SERIES - (PRE)ORDER DISCUSSION **NO COMPETITOR HINTING**

"Another major issue is that some retailers with day-one stock are selling cards at significantly higher prices, effectively allowing them to act as scalpers." <cough, cough>

Pre-orders as well, right.... As a long time OC's supporter I very much enjoyed the 'extra special' price premium of +£238 over RRP (and their main competitors prices) added to my purchase yesterday. Feeling the love from the people's champion!

I can't imagine many will sell for 3.8-4k that they're asking. It's not that impressive of a product and we're past the mining craze.

They are selling though, some might be gamers with deep packets but most will be buying it for pro use.

I’m buying for business so have to use my business debit card and don’t think they have the same protection as credit cards?
You can use chargeback but not section 75 on debit cards. Protected but not as well.

Shipping charge isn't an issue if you pay that much for a card. The estimated delivery date is likely to change and likely longer wait then expected.

I ordered the Astral at 5pm and currently 200+ on the queue, when I placed the order the page was showing 2 to 12 weeks. However, I checked few time after I received confirmation and never see the ETA on order tracking.

Anyway, it maybe better as I can wait and maybe change my mind cancel the order after seeing more reviews in the coming weeks.
#70 in the pre-order queue for mine. Ordered quite fast.

A batch of MSI 5080 seemed to have arrived at an online competitor, just managed to secure a Vanguard with delivery scheduled between Monday and Wednesday.

I was initially planning to go for the cheapest AIB card I could find but after reading the Techpower review I have to say the Vanguard seem to be one of the best AIB models out there.

Vanguard is just under the Suprim but above the ventus and gaming trio , will be a very good card no doubt .

Yeah having a look at OCUK's prices earlier I damn near spit my coffee out.
