NVIDIA RTX 50 SERIES - (PRE)ORDER DISCUSSION **NO COMPETITOR HINTING**

Did think about getting the 5090 fe when briefly in stock. But CEX would give me approx £1,100 for my 4090, so £800 extra for 20% extra performance, not worth it.
I know can get more on the bay but they'll always side with buyer even with fake complaints.
And a new £200 PSU too, my 850w would restrict the 5090 by 5-10 %

Nice to see a bunch of people land themselves an FE card. Well done. Wish we could see a modicum of movement on AiB cards, not enough excited posts for those

 lol that is incredible. Who on earth is buying a 4090 FE for that?! More than MSRP 2 years later, used….? Wtf..??
Yeah i was very very happy to get £1700 for it considering that's what i paid for it 2 years and 2 months ago and had been using it all that time , what's crazy is seems i let it go a bit cheap as now fetching up to £2000 , they were never £2000 new ffs .. what is wrong with some people

Cool, thanks for link. Thought there was no chance for these for months?
I wish I'd known about this earlier. I've had the store open on my browser for about 2 weeks now periodically refreshing it. Missed out on the few that dropped earlier... but will try this from now on

IMO that’s an amazing offer from CEX as it has nil seller’s risk (e.g. eBay problems) and is still a good chunk of money towards a new card.

You gave other reasons why a 5090 isn’t for you but, yeah, that’s a pretty tasty offer for anyone else who is umm-ing and ahhh-ing / put-off with ‘resale hassle’.

Same, thanks to https://notify-fe.plen.io/

Wanted to move the delivery date to Sunday but was too afraid to miss it by pressing too many buttons XD

That's the api people were talking about?
I just lucked out and visited the site at the right time and it said 'in stock'. I thought that it can't be right but it let me order.
The whole time ordering I was thinking that there must be thousands in stock if I'm able to just buy one from sheer chance and beat the bots

I'm really surprised my 5080 never got stolen. Just been delivered and it was just shipped in the branded box with a label stuck on it

Unreal, I'd be putting in a complaint to the shipping company.

I am 99th in line for the Zotac Solid 5090 (If thats the one you are referring to?) I calculated that at the rate the number is going down from launch day I will get to first in line by the 23rd June. Lets hope there are larger stock shipments before then because that is painful. The worst launch in my experience.

Yeah the solid 5090, it's gonna be slow.

GZ to all the fellas who just bagged themselves and FE5090, hotstock didn't notify me :(

It's a trippy heart pounding experience. Happened to me with the 4090fe.

Saw them pop up, but had second thoughts buying one considering connector issues on the FE (which do appear real and substantiated at this point, more common than on 4090). Lotta money for something that may crash and burn (literally).

Similar to me in that I had a stock alert in place from a discord group but I literally had my phone in hand and started the process straight away but I was a little unprepared as didn't have my card close to hand for the CVC code and then once I did that but I had to approve in the purchase with my banking app.

All the while I'm thinking oh ffs I bet they've all been sold by the time I get to the end. I was amazed it all went through and I've had my order confirmation and payment authorised emails now as well.

Once in basket someone else can't steal it. You have 15 mins to check out

Luckily I remember my card details so that was quick. I did however have to confirm in my banking app lol
