£999.99 for a 5070ti, hahahahahahaha
You’d have to be radio rental to pay that.
Still, at least it makes me feel less daft for buying a 4090.
We are living in crazy times.

Has the zotac 5070ti that was £799.99 just gone up to £854.99 or has it just disappeared off the page?

Edit
Found it, a much more reasonable £7992.79 now

It was £799.99 five minutes ago. What a joke.
Too many idiots will still buy them though. I hope AMD has more sensible pricing.

Guess there's zero way to prove you should have priority. There's 2 queues, seemingly one of them is a second class queue and all that's guaranteed is that you get your card ahead of the other guys in the second class queue.
its a bit like when the titanic was sinking, the 1st class passengers get to get in the life boats 1st, whilst the 2nd class passengers get to sink with the ship.

isn't there a way to get solid reliable information on when or how long it will take before 5090s are available, I mean there are more than 8 brands making 5090s and none of these brands are competing with each other, If I was a GPU brand I would be manufacturing and sending out products as much as possible

Why isn't Asus or MSI ect informing people on when the shipments are being sent and the quantity, or the distributor can do this so the retailer can inform customers.

People have seemingly lost their collective minds over this generations release.

I don't understand who's buying them, or even buying the old gen, at inflated prices.

People need to just stop panicking into crazy FOMO.

You've had over a year of being able to buy any of the previous gen at RRP ( or even below in some deals).

If you didn't buy them and are waiting for the 5xxx series, why not just wait a bit longer till stock is abundant and you can get them for RRP!?

Madness. Is it PTSD from the 3Xxx release/the crypto boom?
It's absolute collective insanity that people are actually deigning to buy these cards at these absurd prices. Like you said, anyone who already waited months to upgrade who decides to buy needs their head examined.
