NVIDIA RTX 50 SERIES - (PRE)ORDER DISCUSSION **NO COMPETITOR HINTING**

Being 172 in the queue for the Palit Gamerock seems rather excessive seeing some of the other queue positions I’ve seen on here. I’m really considering cancelling as it’s got to be months before that backlog is cleared

Why must they hurt us?

None of them are actually in stock

A lot of these were in stock hours ago. They are not selling out in minutes, so good sign so far.

A few will end up on eBay, however, scalped listings are not selling quickly or are constantly being relisted, so more good signs.

So what I was saying yes to is correct then. They are just selling to us at scaled prices.

Thanks.
Isn't that just supply and demand. If i owned a store i would sell at whatever i could sell for. Customers have 2 options wait for supply to increase which sjould lower prices or pay inmflated prices to be the first to have. You cannot blame stores for making money its what they here for at the end of the day and if you do not liek it buy elsewhere its what i did and it wasnt even dificult

Zotac owners rest easy , it's not just them that are effected and rather a small bunch of defective gpu that no bios update will fix .... the Videocardz article has been updated a few times since earlier with new information.

Well, that's just fan-fudging-tastic. So if my card ever does ship, not only does it need regular sniff tests for the first couple of weeks to check it isn't on fire, but I'll also need to go into GPU-Z to confirm it is actually the card it says it is.

Managed to nab one as they came back in stock again. Really didn't wanna pay that much for an 80 series, but my current 3080 has started to show signs of VRAM issues so not taking the chance with it.
I just nabbed a 5090 TUF OC for 2750, forgot to even do Sat delivery as was just trying to get the order through. Don't even know just impulse bought it when I got a notification that it was in stock lmao

Completely botched launch tbh, although get used to it, things are gonna probably be like this for the foreseeable future, paper launched of defective cards

At least that card has gone to a genuine user and not eBay.
Totally, and yeah I know I've overpaid, but there's worse things I've wasted £250 on lol, just need to see if I actually get it or get lumped into a preorder queue in which case I'd just cancel and try again next time
