NVIDIA RTX 50 SERIES - (PRE)ORDER DISCUSSION **NO COMPETITOR HINTING**

Shops sitting on cash with no idea when they can supply the goods... Almost feels immoral, that the buyer is closing their side of the contract by paying the entire sum but the seller doesn't even know when they can honour their side of the contract. It's not necessarily a moan aimed at OCUK as I'm guessing it's not unique to them, but what other industry does this? Car dealers only ask for deposits, most/all online retails I've used only charge when its dispatched... grr...

the entire thing is dirty. Nvidia for either releasing something too soon and not having stock (or manipulating stock to elevate prices/FOMO). Shops for pre-scalping (which I don't blame them for - supply and demand, and all that). Scalpers with bots for scalping further...

Hold… the market will dry up of these clown buyers. 5080 eBay listings aren’t flying off the shelves, also there are repeat listings from various sellers.
That’s what I see, too. In three months time things are going to look very different. And maybe not even that long.

Scalpers add to the perceived demand as wel, but that bubble will pop at some point soon.

Looks like the usual sites are getting hammered, was browsing for none GPU parts and sites ground to a halt with DDOS protection kicking in.

So far only these two are in stock here at OCuk

Probably sooner, cards in the £1.3K range ain’t shifting and there is not much profit to earn from that selling price.

Scalpers cannot compete against a retailer selling at the similar prices (when in stock) and provide warrant.

That bubble will go boom!
