NVIDIA to Unveil GeForce GTX TITAN P at Gamescom

When it is comes to money it just ends up being what you spend it on.

I could go on a night out and get takeaways most weekends for a few months or i could go out and get takeways once in awhile and buy a titan p that doesnt mean i am wealthy it just means i was frugle and spent my money on something i wanted more.

Hahaha I think of it exactly the same way.
I'm scrimping on just about everything starting today. Might be able to afford one on launch then.

I am not wealthy at all, in fact I do a boring factory job.

I also don't drive where as most of the people on these forums do. A lot of those that do drive will spend far more on their cars than I will ever spend on PC parts.

 thought you was like a brain surgeon or something Kaap. Especially as you have bought like 10k worth of cards, boards and CPU's in the last 6 months ;)

How dare you use logic against me! You are...focused :)

Glad i didn't get that second 1080 now lol, wasn't expecting (still not, really) these till March.

Ti's will be next year, Titan about Christmas time I guess. As much as ill try resist I know i'll still likely buy two Ti's, depends on perf. Good thing is 1080's will hold their value until 1180. Shouldnt drop more than £100.

Its when the 1180 drops you need to worry about previous gen prices.

I have no interest in the Titan personally especially at the absolute ludicrous price it will get launched at.

Twice the price of 1080 at least. So id expect atleast £1300 and a bit of extra milking for the HMB2.

Probably the 1080ti will be more than £1000

Yup, that's my guess as well. I hope to be proven wrong.

1080 owners will get quite the twitch if the 1080Ti comes in at £700. Apart from the halo Titan products, there has never been a single GPU NVIDIA high end card released for more than 700 US Dollars MSRP. The 780Ti was the highest MSRP of note at $699. The 980Ti was $649 and most recently the founders 1080 $699.

For 1080 owners to suddenly believe the 1080Ti will have a $1000+ MSRP is crazy even on NVIDIAS pricing.

My prediction, £749 for 1080ti reference model. When it comes to the UK you cant compare to US prices. Its like take US price, trebble it, divide by two, put your finger in the air, wet it, then pull out a figure thats more than the US price and thats the UK one.

As terrible as the exchange rate/gouging is now, it's still $699 to £619.99 so, not far off, but still not exactly as horrendous as $1 to £1.

Only the PNY FE at the original price now.

Then again RRP of non FE cards somehow become closer to £700 than £100 cheaper.

Just look at the Hybrid EVGA 1080, £800.

hey, if my gtx1080 FTW arrives later than I ordered it, does the step up time limit start from when I receive the card? Just thinking it could be obsolete when it's in my hands!

Nvidia is overconfident so i recon price on 1080 ti will be 799GBP for FE. AMD has no game still would rather pick up 2nd hand 980 than rx480...
