Why? I have never trusted Nvidia but what exactly are they going to do with all your details?

Not really an issue, You give a name, DoB, Email address and password.
For all they know you could use a completely different name and email address, It's a non issue.

So why the need to change all of a sudden their is obviously something in it for them which is fine if they want to sell on my details to a 3rd party I will consent once we have worked out a compensation package.
Perhaps they have altruistic intentions it just seems a little fishy to me so I will kindly pass them up on their offer and just download the driver that I need from elsewhere.

For the 3rd time it's not about paranoia. They claimed the paranoia thing years ago when people were told the government has the capability to read every form of communication, then we actually found out that they can. Edward Snowdon ect.
Not to go all political it's the principle. It's my information first and foremost and I care what happens to it and I expect if not demand that it gets treated with respect. Now we know that isn't always the case so yes I am skeptical.

Ok fair enough, here's a point then, don't use it seeing as GFE isn't compulsory, just don't install it and then not have to worry about giving yet another company an Email address and a name.

As for Forza, I don't know, I am downloading it now though.
And yet it still isn't just hating on NVidia for the sake of it.
Just remember it is Voluntary, you don't have to use it.
Well then Forza is a bit of crap technically if this is true? I have never had a game not work and i normally only update 3-4 times a year with a fresh image or format. So it would be hilarious if you actually needed to run and sign up and give away details just to play Forza with Nvidia.

Funny that there isn't the same uproar at AMD for using Raptr, which of course requires a email login for a permanent account.
Raptr though is just a skin not owned by AMD.
