NXE Official thread

Installed the update, installed GH3 and all is fine. Looks very good and very easy to get to grips with. The whole layout is much, much better and I love the way it brings up more details about the game your playing (or about to play).

Over all, 100% improvement imo.
 
I just turned mine on for the update and got 3 red lights. Just rang suppport, out of warrenty back in May. £59 for a repair :(

So basically I need a 2nd 120GB hard drive?

What about DLC like the map map pakc for Gears 2, which required a code? will I be able to use that code on bith consoles? Is it tied to my gamer tag or my console?

The 360 is less than 3 years old in UK. and RROD is covered for 3 years from original purchase date.

Call back and use your noggin, this time.

That's tied to your gamertag so you can download that to any console.

Maybe its somthing in the electricity round this way? I was hoping mine was proper dead tbh so I could get another unit instead of my plans to buy a new box at christmas for HDMI & larger HDD.

It will - a lot of data is being pulled from the servers now. I am regularly getting error messages where it's unable to download content lists, graphics, etc. I also think it's causing issues with the Friends list as the console can't connect to the servers to pull info on who's logged in/what they're doing, etc. This is causing freezes.

My Fable II just crashed as well playing from the HDD. :(
