I only got 1 but to change it you highlight your Avatar (under my Xbox 2nd bit from left). and then "Change Theme" is an option.

Edit: For some reason my "old" theme only works when I am connected to Live. Weird.

It's because your monitors internal scaler is better than the scaler chip in the 360. It's why on most 1080p sets 720p looks a lot better than 1080p in the 360 settings.

Has anyone had connection problems since this update?

I can't have my two 360's on at the same time as they get disconnected from live at the same time, yet if one of them is on it works fine.

All started on Wednesday when the update came out. Router is fine

I don't tend to have mine both on at the same time, but I have had a lot of connection problems since NXE. Random disconnects during online FIFA matches and also when playing SP it will reconnect and disconnect randomly.

Put one of the 360's in the routers DMZ, only one of them, then see what happens..

It tool me a while to find the themes setting too.

Choose My Xbox, then move right to the square with your Gamertag and avatar on it. Press A, and the "Change theme" is on that page.

One of my mates has dowloaded the nxe and every time he turns on the xbox and it connects to live it re-downloads it. Anyone heard of this or a fix?

I got some awful slowdown last night playing WaW installed to HDD in single player campaign when someone on my FL logged in.

So what's the difference between spotlight and inside Xbox? couldnt these be within the same section?

Spotlight highlights new items to the marketplace in a no-nonsense, download-here sort of way. Inside Xbox has videos and stuff and is much better in the US with Major's Minute amongst various other things which we don't get (I don't include the poor equivalents by AceyBongos et al.)

Anyone else getting random slow down then lock up since installing this NXE?

I've had it quite a few times now. Normally when loading a game but I've just had it while playing.

no point making a new thread for this but....

when you browse the frieds 'tab' and you scroll along them, what decides what you have behind you? soem people have a robot some a space ship,guitar, little blocks, a bit x, an xbox, a pad etc.

It's just random I think. I've you have a premium theme the backgrounds change.

Not really piosted my thoughts on the NXE at all. Overall I like the UI, but the implementation is terrible really. Its far far too slow as its obivously downloading too much data. Browsing the marketplace is so painful its unreal.
