NZXT H1

Hey are all the next batch of preorders for this assigned, or is there any chance of getting one in the June batch? Thanks!
We are getting very close to our limit for the first batch - I don't have a solid number as it depends on how many we get allocated when they land in the UK (Although NZXT have assured me that at the present moment, I will have enough to cover the current orders.)

The follow up batch wont be with us until later in the year, the revised shipping date from NZXT is that the next batch will ship in August to arrive late September/Early October. (We are talking 8 weeks on the sea from ship date)

NZXT Confirmed we would have enough to cover the current pre-orders but that was monday.
The second batch will ship from China in August (H1's are the holdup) and this will spend around 8 weeks on the sea.

Does that include those of us who put in orders on Monday? Also do you have an ETA on that first batch?

I don't have an ETA for them - NZXT have let me know that the stock is on the sea on the way to supplier. It's due in June but that is as accurate as I can be at the minute.

White Pre-Orders for the first batch are full (I've just had this confirmed) any further orders of white will be in the second batch.
There is still some availability of Black though.

can I tease you all with this?

A friendly advise if you're after this case, if you plan to use a hot gpu like rx 5700 XT you will HAVE to remove the front glass, mine would get very hot even though i got 2 exhaust fan at the back, the air would stop on the glass and would make the glass super hot at touch (like seriously hot, you could burn yourself). I have since returned the AMD card, but will have a 2070S to test soon. The last things to do to my build is liquid cooling!

Looks very nice. I think the glass was a bad idea, and would prefer a mesh front. Hopefully they'll make a version 2, or make additional front panels.

Did you make that yourself?

agreed, unless you watercool the gpu somehow, but is not an easy loop to make and you only have a 140mm radiator space unless you modify the back .

Yes I made it, it has a custom back panel as well with 2 x 120mm fans

Did you undervolt? It's pretty much a no brainer in an ITX case. Can drop 20c.

yup, was at 1050mv 2000mhz, core was around 75 and junction around 90, but that tempered glass killed it, without undervolt the junction would go up to 110 and core 90.

I think is a very nice looking case, but there is room for improvement,

what NZXT should do in the next version is:

- remove the 2.5 ssd cage
- move the PSU towards middle

this way there should be enough space to mount a 280mm rad, and they should do the bracket for it, I will email them my review soon. I also have another ITX case coming, Sliger is sending me a SM580, I'm very curious to compare the 2.

I thought that area was too short for a 280? I've seen it discussed elsewhere before, and there wasn't enough length (without extending in to the IO area?).

Build looks great BTW. I think NZXT are really missing a trick not getting on the vented panel thing. I reckon a fair portion of H1 owners would snap one up.
