Obi Wan Kenobi (Disney+)

Rogue One wasn't even that good though really, forgettable characters, mediocre acting. The only redeeming quality of that film was the end Vader scene. Rest completely forgettable.
For me Rogue One is one of my fav Star Wars films, yep the Vader scene was cool but just really liked the whole thing and how well it did with giving off the original Star Wars vibe, something the other new films seemed to miss.

Yeah I see that, it was definitely the best the newer ones for sure.

Agreed , so many well cast actors for sure. In fact I’ll say it was the best Star Wars film out of the franchise, Felicity Jones and Diego Luna we’re just both epic in their roles.

Cant wait looks good.

One query as i am not brushed up on the lore. Thought the Sith was "Always two, there are. No more. No less. A Master and an apprentice." How is there so many Sith in this timeframe at the same time?

The rule of two only applied to sith lords, not the sith inquisitors pictured in the trailers

They are called Inquisitor’s, basically they’re sith just not called that due to the 2 limit. There were originally Jedi who surrendered during the Jedi purge.

Ah I see, i am not a hardcore fan so was not familiar with the lore outwith the main movies. Thanks for the explanation.

Slow start but not boring, builds a bit in second episode. Interesting enough so far and a lot of effort put into the Star Wars look and feel.

Very slow start.

Glad they didnt recast obi, wouldnt liked it as much i think. Right 1st ep down onto 2nd.

How is it so far, no spoilers please?

Just finished E2, feels quite slow so far but very much in keeping with the prequels.

Hasn't drawn me in like the Mandalorian did yet but it's enjoyable.

Good actor and plot continuity from the prequels etc though which means longevity and decent lore to explore.

Well ep 2 was a bit better, im not liking 2 characters so far, one is very annoying the other i think shoulda been cast as a bloke tbh, but the way things are in inclusive world... The char aint too bad but still id prefer a bloke cast for that role.

The end of ep 2 was interesting with a reveal but is it who i think it should be or recast, i think its him but the way you see him hmm hard to tell.

The environments are pretty good, the tension was good, most actors pretty good.

I think there was a surprise cameo but not sure but it looked like...

I just hope the whole series isnt just this one plot and stops at ep 3 and does something else then some other plot after ep 6 or 7.

Hope thats not too spoilery. Kept it vague.
