Obvious Things That You Have Just Realised.

Despite being a qualified paramedic and working frontline for over 6 years, and despite writing it on reports, reading it on packets and saying it, I only realised over Christmas that Aspirin has that first 'I' in it. I had referred to it, written it and read it as Asprin 100% of the previous times.

I realised yesterday an upside down Coca Cola glass fits on a Coca Cola bottle like a glove.

you mean like left clicking does ??

also I am fairly sure this is not the same for everyone, given that you can customise mouse buttons.

I think he means opens a new window for the link, as opposed to sometimes it does, sometimes it uses the current window.

I've only just realized that you can expand the YouTube video description box by clicking and dragging at the bottom right of it. I've even contacted support requesting that they make the description box larger, too. :D :o

I only found out last week that Meg White who plays drums with her brother Jack White in The White Stripes is actually not his Sister but an ex wife.

That's not really you being naive at all, I think the little tinkers were wholly implicit in perpetuating the ruse.

Again it's not that obvious unless you know but [ or it might be a myth ] the little hole in a biro pen cover is to prevent death should
it get swallowed and stuck in the windpipe.

That's true, I have vague memories of them being introduced after a campaign or something, basically ever year there were a few deaths from people chewing on the ends of the pens (or very young kids playing with them) and swallowing them, so a minor change in manufacturing basically saved a few lives a year at no ongoing cost as once they swapped over the only costs were the same as with the old caps (IE replacing moulds as they wore out).

You're not alone there....I only found that out a couple of years ago!
Same here

I don't know how long cars have had this arrow :o But owned an RX8 for 5 years and did over 35,000miles and never noticed the arrow till I read and about it...
And you look at the Fuel gauge in a RX8 none stop when it only does 12 to 15mpg :p

Took me a while to realise that 'boatswain' is not pronounced as it looks and that a ship's 'bosun' is the aforementioned ship's 'boatswain'.
