OCUK Binned i7 7700k's - Only 4.8Ghz??

They can all do 4.8Ghz....

I may be mistaken, but I read in another thread that binned Kaby Lake's would only be sold in bundles so I'm guessing this is it??

4.8 is a respectable clock speed I don't what your problem is. If you want high you will need to look at deliding the IHS and slapping a water cooling kit on it.

I've already dellided a 7700k, I did that over 3 weeks ago.

These bundles are a great way to offload the other bits that the majority don't want or need just for the allure of 5Ghz+, lol

The 4.8GHz 'binned' bundles are definitely very odd given that these chips are meant to OC to 4.8 without any trouble.

Don't think many are upset, just astounded at some of the pricing.
Kaby is priced ridiculously to start with, add any sort of supposed value added process to that it starts to look even worse.

At its heart though its £1500 for a quad core chip, motherboard, AIO, 16gb RAM and a 600mhz overclock, I just don't see anyway that it offers any sort of value to anyone unless you enjoy wasting money.
