OcUK Curborough Sprint Circuit - Monday 20th March 2017

Running Order:

At the start of the day we will begin with 5 minute slots to just familiarise yourself with the track layout and to get as many people through the track as possible.

After the first of the 5 minute slots are complete we'll move to 8 minute slots which means 2 hours between runs. If this is deemed too short or too long we'll adjust. I've often found people wanting more than getting their fill after 5 minutes due to the size and nature of the circuit. I've also found some to leave by the mid afternoon opening it up to get more runs in.

I will require people to help out with ensuring that people are ready to get on and off the circuit at their allotted time. I'll ensure to have some lists printed for people to go by.

Obviously if there are any issues this is completely up for discussion.

I've only just seen it though! don't "browse" very often so unless something is on first page or in "New posts" it passes me by.
No chance of getting Monday off now otherwise I'd pop along to be sociable

I'm sure it'll be a great day, a few friends do Curborough sprint days about twice/three times a month....always a good craic

Is there anywhere to go for a quick warm up drive, just so I'm not going out on track with cold gearbox oil.

I'm bringing a passenger in my car but happy to take others out if they wish.

Also, for those who don't know, I stutter/stammer. It's not a problem but I just find it useful to let people know beforehand.

Just take it easy, as I'd expect everyone to do on their first outing!

Andrew, I generally do a bit of driving up and down to warm up the car, there's a bottom loop which we won't be using for the day but ok to use just to pootle around on. Then I generally do a gentle lap before giving it some beans.

I love how we've got to the point where I don't actually have a say haha!

Anyone getting in my car must be clean. Or you'll have to sit on a seat cover and slide all over the place

Hadn't even noticed your location. Yea I'm up for that, route looks to be mostly M1 -> M6 so we could either meet at somewhere on Sixfields or the Shell/Holiday Inn at junction 15

Sixfields is good for me, not looked at timings yet but we can sort that out.

Sixfields it is, looks like it takes about 1hr15mins and Kosta is opening the gates at 8:30 so let's say meet at McDonald's at 7:30 (Gives me an excuse for breakfast too)
