i find it very hard to believe a disgruntled customer or former forum member would have the ability to mount a seemingly untraceable sustained DDoS attack
maybe it was a former employee?????

Nothing is untraceable. Just some are harder to trace than others. We're happy with progress so far.i find it very hard to believe a disgruntled customer or former forum member would have the ability to mount a seemingly untraceable sustained DDoS attack

Ive just been trying to buy a PSU from the shop but it kept timing out at the "Confirm order" page. Are there still problems with the site? Ive given up for tonight and Ill try again tomorrow....I didnt get any sort of confirmation email through so Im assuming the order requests ahvent gone through....either that or Im gonna end up with about 3 Tagan PSUs on Monday :/

I find it hard to believe it is anybody else.
I appreciate that nothing is untracable but i would expect that someone with the ability to evade for this long has considerable knowledge of this kind of attack and the techniques used to trace the source. I would also expect this to not have been the first time they have attempted something like this albeit not against OCUK.
I guess you have also employed external security agencies to look into this as well?
the attack changes vectors
If you hijack a wireless connection, you'd be completely untraceable.
Not true depending on the router / equipment you are using.
