** OCUK EXCLUSIVE - AK RACING & AROZZI GAMING CHAIRS **

So far there's only been a single reported gas life failure so there's nothing to say that is an issue that needs a addressing any further than the general quality control.

Ulti-Resis

With the greatest of respect, the issues have been noted and forwarded to the supplier and manufacturer. I have highlighted only the starting point of what is happening here.

There has been one report of a gas lift failure. This doesnt raise much concern and is well within a default rate compared to even more expensive hardware lines we list such as graphics cards etc.

There is other things going on behind the scenes that I am not at liberty to disclose publicly yet. So please refrain from jumping to conclusions on the matter until we have some time for resolutions to be put in place.

Thanks Rich,

Webnote sent, hopefully I did it right, not having to ever do one before. Also hoping it's my first and last one I have to do too.

It's a shame AK Racing have dropped the ball on this one, hopefully all the feedback here and through the official channels will help to better the product in the future.

They need to be supplying those updated instructions you linked with the chairs, they have much clearer pictures and directions with a better ordered assembly.

Once again, thanks to all at OcUK for listening and striving to do best by your customers, I for one will continue to order from you.

I'm not jumping to conclusions, merely stating what I believe needs to happen to solve the problem with the plastic. This is simply my opinion given what I have seen both in photographic and written evidence from a number of users here.

You will note that I did say "that's without mentioning any of the other problems" and the reason I said this was because they are only singular issues and don't necessarily apply to all the chairs.

I am sure that you are doing all you can to resolve the issues and I don't purport to know what you are doing or what is being said behind the scenes. Clearly it will take time to resolve and I hope it all works out in the end.

Can i get an honest answer which chairs are having the issues as i have my eyes more on the Arozzi's as theyre cheaper and i cant justify too much due to just having a new chair but i want one badly :O

Plus i prefer the arms on the Arozzi

Im undecided :( God damn i want to push order with a lot of other stuff and grit my teeth

Seems to be mostly the AK racing chairs, only a few reports of cosmetic issues on the Arozzi as far as I'm aware.
I'd say go for it, the return policy OCUK have is excellent.

Got mine refunded, decided to go for a DX.

Good luck to you getting things sorted Rich and to others who buy or have bought and need problems resolving I hope everything works out.

My chair has just been picked up for replacement, I was dreading unassembling it but it was quicker and easier than building it, only problem was I couldn't remove the gas lift from the chair base, it came out of the wheelbase easily enough though as did the wheels.

Such an awesome first rate service from OcUK, the webnote system is simple to use and contact from support was within minutes via e-mail.

I looked at the DX ones and they just don't look as nice IMO, I can't compare comfort levels between the two but as already stated by many here the AK are extremely comfortable, unfortunately I'm going to have to go a few days of uncomfortable sitting while waiting for my return.

Have you got your replacement chair yet? how is it.

I have a DX, ordered at the weekend and arrived Thursday. Great chair, but was missing the butterfly to keep the headrest in place. Bolts lined up perfectly, very comfortable. QC isn't perfect given the missing butterfly which I searched through the packaging many times for. Manual good and clear. Made in China. Plastic covers for the sides arn't bolted on but just clip into place.

There's a tiny bit of movement in the arms. Best thing is that unlike my old chair, it doesn't squeak at every slight movement.

Ordered my DX on Wednesday, expecting delivery early next week.
Which did you get dowcow? I got the D-Series with white piping.

One of the brown D-series ones. I saw them appear back in stock so I ordered one and they went out of stock again almost immediately.
