** OCUK EXCLUSIVE - AK RACING & AROZZI GAMING CHAIRS **

OK - the consensus is that these chairs are very poor indeed. But I am using a crap wooden chair at the moment and seriously need a proper gaming chair. Can anyone recommend a decent one? Not too worried about price.

I recently got myself a maxnomic (ESL Branded) Pro chair and the best money I think I have ever spent.


I have had it a couple of weeks and it is amazingly comfy for long coding sessions.

Although I hear the DX racers are very good as well. Just make sure you get one that is suited to your body type that's the important thing.

Maxnomics look pretty good, Linus also has a video of one and will have more chair videos coming.

I was thinking of doing a mini-review on it (only if people thought it would be a useful thing in assisting their purchase needs) as when I was looking for a new chair a lot of threads popped up in the "peripherals" sub-forum asking the usual "What chair should I get?"
 
My £30 staples chair has lasted me a good 8 years without breaking.

I'm finally looking for a replacement, but from what I've heard ITT I would be lucky to get 12 months out of these newer ones.

Are these chairs any good? I'd expect something at this price to last at least 5 years.
 
Really? I have read else where the QC issues have been fixed, and the returns rate is a lot lower that what it was at the beginning. Are there still a lot of people having issues with these??
 
My chair is fine, a couple of little tiny things as a perfectionist that bothers me. I feel they are expensive and the premium which I own are not quite a premium product.

I didn't have the issue's others had though so may have got lucky or the QC is doing a good job now!
 
the two i sit in regularly are just fine. We did have some problems yes we hired some extra staff to check all the stock and sent the bad stuff back. They are flying off the shelves at the moment.
 
The QC on the latest batch has improved massively.




Also guys, DX Racer is coming to OcUK. It will probably not be here until well into 2015 yet though
 
rjk ! what are the bases like on the monza and enzo? i take it they are plastic? i have gone through 3 chairs with plastic bases in the last 2 years, are these a lot more durable? which ones have metal bases?
 
ok think il go for the ak racing as they are metal. any ETA on stock bro?

ok guys, damo said they are getting stock any day now but most likely next week and cant give me a date.
