** OcUK EXCLUSIVE: SUPERFLOWER POWER SUPPLIES NOW IN STOCK!! **

It's enough for a rig with a power efficient cpu such as a 3570k and a gtx 670 or 7950. With no overclocking it would be fine even with a 770/7970.

Hmm... Perhaps I shouldn't be confused...

A stock 3570K and 670 with a single HDD, SSD and 3x 12CM fans would put it right on its limit at peak load according to CM advanced PSU calculator though.

I suppose a 660TI and a 4570S or something would be okay...

I had a stock 2500k + gtx 670, highest draw I ever saw was 230w with cpu + gpu fully loaded.

This was on an 80+ gold psu so with about 90% efficiency load on psu is was mere 207w.

Calculators go by TDP which is much higher than what they actually use even with overclocking.

Ahh yes that makes sense.. Man... People always over-spec PSU's for their system. :p

Or maybe they're implying that a butteryfly is a super flower!

Cheers, updated our specs. :)

I just taken one out of its box, can confirm it feels and looks awesome.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on it m8.

Only PSU I know off which is full of so much quality whilst also looking absolutely sublime too and the fact the molex connectors glow is really really cool as well. :)

I had an EVGA 1000w P2 for a couple of weeks before 'upgrading' to a 1300w G2. Great PSU's.

I will say that I got my 1300w for £148 so thats a good £30 cheaper than the superflower branded one which is exactly the same underneath.

A question: As I believe the units are not identical, as Superflower unlike Seasonic can a build a PSU to any specification/option requirement, whereas Seasonic just re-box for other brands, no customisation.

Does your EVGA have glowing cables/connectors like the Superflower?

Gibbo, I just came across some pictures of the cables that come with the superflower platinum models.

It seems the 1200w actually has 8 pci-e connectors not 6 which is listed on their website. 3 of the cables have 2 x 6+2pin on each and then 2 x 6+2pin singles.

I'd assume this is the same for the 1300w gold.

They do indeed, as we just claimed a world record with one of these PSU's, 8 Pack shall reveal full details later, but in short best PSU he has tested (1200W Platinum). :)

Ok maybe not identical but Jonnygurus review and the techpowerup review suggest it's based on the Gold rated Leadex platform (the P2 possibly is just a rebranded Leadex but I can't remember). Either way Superflower PSU's are rock solid so you can't go wrong really.
