Having not quite given in to Z97 and DC upgrade from the dark ages, now this DDR4 is here, might as wait to see how many kidneys I need to sell to get X99 and a compatible cpu.

Would probably help if we saw some benchmarks vs ddr3 at same frequencies. Just looking at them specs its almost like an expensive downgrade

Pricing isnt too bad at all, when you compare to DDR3 release prices. Although the higher speed stuff is a little high.

I epxect everything will drop when
A, everyone has stuff out (and stock on shelves)
b, the initial price hike for new tech drops off
c, shortly after I/you upgrade.
