OcUK GUIDE TO ORDERING YOUR AMD 9070 GRAPHICS CARD TODAY AT 14:00

My order went thru and got confirmations etc. Am I safe to cancel my orders elsewhere for an Nvidia 5070 TI as I'm quite happy to be getting this...?

This market is mad. Reaper selling out at £80 over msrp in a flash! No wonder the prices are so high with so many happy/desperate to pay it.
Well, bet there's lots of people like me who are building something from scratch and 80£ here or there won't really change much in the 2-3k range with upgrading monitors with it and so on.

In this case, it's also because it's now clear that the MSRP price was a release deal only, meaning that this is basically the lowest you'll be able to get a 9070 XT at for months to come.

Yeah, I must admit - I hoped the cards would sit around for a bit longer at these mad scalped prices. Guess we'll be waiting a while for MSRP models unless AMD pull their finger out.

Yup totally mad. Base models are now nearly £100 over MSRP.

Thankfully I have a working GPU, so I'll keep waiting. I'm old enough and sensible enough to not get FOMO any more.

Plus if they lower the price now people who bought in the last few days will be sore. I'd say 2 to 3 weeks before msrp. Or if the supply catches up and they are sitting on shelves. 630 or under is my sweet spot. Anything More and I'll just wait for 5070 TI to go to MSRP.

3x8 pin, stock OC, decent cooler, high power limit, 4 year warranty if you register, looks pretty good, not massive, sensibly priced (relatively-speaking).
3 years on XT Gaming OC, XT Aorus Elite is 4 years if register from what I saw.

The Gigabyte OC card has a vapour chamber cold plate (rather than being solid metal) - Gigabyte states this on the web site (I cant find info on the other manufacturers whether theirs are vapour chambers - I suspect most are not). I recently saw a youtube video (Jaystwocents?) where this was shown to be much more effective.

Did I miss Reaper and Hellbound 9070XT stock today (Wed 12 Mar)? Website says 10+ and 2 sold today respectively.

Best to get one by browsing usual sites and snapping one up if you find one at an acceptable price.

What's annoying is you can't delay, if I was on the site and pulse and pure was <£635 and being allowed me to order, I didn't even have time to mull it over, because as soon as I ordered I checked the other model (pulse) and it went back up to £700 or whatever, and the pure I ordered also went OOS. but luckily my pure went through at £635, so £35 more than MSRSP is acceptable for me. but the £690 or whatever it's going for now

Not fair if you have disability sight or hand based, or have to use some kind of interface. You literally have to be superman through the basket process
The MSRP for the XT is £570 so you've paid £65 over. For the non xt MSRP is £525.
