OcUK H²Flo Liquid CPU Cooler - IN STOCK NOW! (now with benchmarks)

you should include some ocuk decals for the waterblock, or get the manufacturer to put the ocuk logo on the block :p

Why the price is the same for both fans compare ?

- Dimensions: 120 x 120 x 25mm
- Rated speed: 2000 RPM
- Sound: 36.1 dB(A)
- Air flow: 76.4 CFM

Only £10.99 inc VAT.

- Dimensions: 120 x 120 x 25mm
- Rated speed: 1000 RPM
- Sound: 19.0 dB(A)
- Air flow: 36.8 CFM

Only £10.99 inc VAT.

The 1000RPM should be £3 off really.

This and some IC Diamond, my 965 at 3.68 goes upto 60c (23 amb. p/p full speed).

I wouldn't recommend. However, at this price I would.

One thing for surely, is to removed pre-applied thermal paste! Many customers want to use their own thermal compound.

Many customers, re: first time watercoolers don't want the hassle. They want a simple solution where they can just throw the thing on and away they go.

That because you've got an overclocked 140W TDP chip that consumes over 220W under load at stock speeds! :D

Why? its the same fan with the RPM turned down, still the same fan?

That could be said about any cooler, be it a crappy sealed watercooling solution or a high-end aircooler.

Nonetheless when you have a choice of applying the thermal paste yourself, you'll choose the best product available.

Where did you get that BS info from? A stock X4 965 C3 doesn't consume more than 120W under load, even less so when you calculate in the efficiency of the PSU it was tested with.

Hmm not sure which fan to get, 1000rpm or 2000rpm? Want relative quietness, not a screaming jet.

Will the 1000 be ok for airflow? The reviews say that the 1000 is silent, yet the 2000 is ridiculously loud.

I'm only running a 2500k on stock at the moment.

Also, what TIM is good these days? AS5 was the weapon of choice last time I bought a new system.

The 2000 rpm one and plug it into a fan controller (or your motherboard) to regulate the voltage.

Regarding thermal pastes, MX4 and IC Diamond are the most popular around here afaik. Both are great and easy to apply.

AS5 is fine too, it just needs some time to set in.
