** OcUK HAS 21 CUSTOM GTX 1080 MODELS READY FOR PRE-ORDER !! **

Thats absolutely fine Ben, just some constructuve criticism, EVGA have been delivering lots of cards, but the FE, ACX and SC are all reference boards. Quite a few of us had ordered FTW's based on the timelines given but having found out the real likely delivery date we have been jumping ship to other manufacturers non-reference boards.

Its a shame because it looks like a great product, but there's only so many times you can be told "2 weeks" when you realise all those "2 weeks" actually add up to 6 or even 8 weeks, particularly when other full custom boards are popping up as available.

We are delivering GTX1080 as fast as GPU allows us to. We have delivered far more than any other AIC in the UK. FACT.

Ok, but I still don't have my gpu yet. Nearly 3 weeks now :(

Giveaways though I would have no say over, I really don't feel EVGA have done too much wrong, we will aim to make everyone happy as quickly as we can and hopefully with more GPU in coming weeks we can do this.

Ben

I figured as much. Thanks anyways

Of course we understand this, we did realise early within the senior management of the company the FTW was going to be a very successful product and we have been prioritising this as best we can.

This is a custom PCB board though which just takes time.

I really hope I can make some happy people on this forum in coming weeks.

Ben

Welp, i canceled my FTW order, picked up a FE today. Dont think i'm going to be missing out on much, i should have went with the FE day one.

No idea what queue position i was in either. :p

An guys, just be thankful you have a Rep as helpful as Ben.......

All those of use ordering Inno3d, we pays our money, we takes our chance with no realistic manufacturer update!

Switched my order from an EVGA 1080 FTW (ordered on 28th May) to the MSI Gaming X earlier today and the whole process was very painless from OCUK. Now apparently 39th for the MSI.

The news yesterday regarding the FTW delays, and simultaneous reports that the cards were still being manufactured yet were apparently somehow miraculously also being issued to US customers was the straw that broke the camel's back. Don't appreciate being misled to that extent.

I've never ordered an EVGA before this attempt, and after this experience I will be steering well clear in future with MSI and and Gigabyte probably my go to choices for the future, as they seem to have a proven track record of getting models with good coolers out early.

Asus 1080 Strix has been pushed back to the 1st July??!! Are you receiving any stock tomorrow or is it all 'coming' on the 1st now?

As some people have already said, its fine taking pre-orders on the basis that they wait a week or two, but this is ridiculous now, over a month - based on the current ETA! I would not have pre-ordered had I known the length of time I would be waiting. Now I am tied in, due to the STRIX price increase :/

Have you guys any idea how concrete this ETA is?

Cheers

They have 1,000 preorders for the Strix. I wouldn't be conifdent on any ETA from OC just yet. Gibbo also sais Strix delays as hitting boost clock may be difficult.

I am curious as well to see if some, even if miniscule amount of cards arrive tomorrow. I've been waiting since the 31st and like you I don't want to lose out on the initial price lock now that its gone up.

Probably going to cancel my 1080 FTW tomorrow as well, poor showing from EVGA so far. I am actually 1st in line as well, but it's a line that doesn't look like it's going anywhere anytime soon.

just wait a little longer as you will get first batch. many people that swap out to other cards they wouldn't get first batch anyway.

I might be inclined to wait just a bit if you are at the head of the queue :)

I was 22nd and we were told the first batch would be 50... still not waiting another 2-4 weeks to find out though if similar custom board cards are coming in to stock tomorrow

If i dont get one tomorrow I'll just cancel altogether and wait a couple of months to see what happens on pricing, GP102 rumours and water cooling overclocks

Well I won't get first batch for MSI Gaming X because it already went out to customers prior to my switch. Which in itself is peace of mind.
