I ordered yesterday and haven't asked what number I am in the queue so I wanted to get an idea as to where I am without bothering OC.

Looks like a real nice card. Not surprised at all, given it uses basically the same cooler as the awesome Palit 980 Ti that I had with a different shroud. According to that the fans only get up to 1050RPM at full load on the out of the box fan curve, which is slower than the ones on the 780 I currently have idle at.
I changed my order from Strix to Gaming X around 10ish yesterday and I'm 41. Someone changed theirs 2 hours earlier and was 31st. Then around 12ish gibbo said there was around 100 preorders.
That was me. 8:30am yesterday, 31st.
I'm glad people are showing EVGA how they feel by switching. To be fair, I was willing to wait until the 17th as advised by absolutely everywhere, up until yesterday. But seeing stateside getting them while we got spoon-fed more cryptic messages was the straw that broke the camels back.

I missed the boat yesterday but does anyone know when more GLH units are expected? And importantly, what the preorder queue looks like? Very tempted to cancel my ftw and go GLH. I'm one of only 2 on the planet that actually likes the design!

I'm debating cancelling my order from Amazon and ordering one from here.
I ordered a MSI Gaming X 1080 and have heard nothing from them since I've pre-ordered it. It sounds like people here are getting them (slowly) but I've not heard anyone getting theirs from Amazon yet.

Where are you getting that 10 are coming today? I was sure that Gibbo said that they only left Hong Kong yesterday so Monday or Tuesday was a likely ETA.

Pretty sure I read the same...
Morning guys, been on a FTW since the 30th but since it seems that they're not coming any time soon could someone recommend an alternative that may arrive sooner? Or is it best just to hold on tight? I'm after air-cooling, quiet, efficient etc. with good overclocking potential like with the FTW.

The Gigabyte G1 is due in again next week. No idea what the backlog of preorders will be like for the card now. Think quite a few swapped to the G1 when it first came in stock.

Customer services told me there expecting 10 today and more Monday. Also yesterday Gibbo said 10 SHOULD be landing today.
Like I said, fingers crossed!!
