He doesnt know. He says they are making a batch next week so it will be about 14 days until they hit OCUK. I find that unlikely personally and think it will be more like 3 weeks, if the first bit is true.

The other problem is that it has been "2 weeks" since they first went up for sale, so in another 2 weeks it might still be "2 weeks".

Coming from a 970 SSC, this is even quieter and when I started to test it earlier it was boosting to 1949Mhz, which is way higher than the advertised clocks. Yes clock went down as the temp rose, but even then it was >1900 when at mid 70's, with no tweaking or overclocking at all attempted yet. Again advertised boost clocks are 1847 so after years of playing the silicon lottery it looks like I have a good one. Keen to see if/how it overclocks at the weekend when I have more time. :)

If you increase the power limit to say 106%+ and temp target to 86c+, does it boost any higher and/or hold boost better without touching the core clock? What fan speed are you at for low 70's?
 
@Ben evga just please tell us straight, will we THE CUSTOMER have our FTW cards in OUR hands at the latest 1st of July? pointless hiding away from the truth now as we know they're not going to be here for a while longer, question is, how much longer? If I knew for definite I wont have my card that I've paid for in my hands by the 1st of July, I'll definitely be cancelling and wont touch another EVGA card again. looking at the MSI card personally, the only thing stopping me I managed to get my FTW "cheap" £597 if I wanted another card even FE I'd have to cough up at least another £20.. Early adopters fee? my ***
 
Lol calm down, he's obviously answered the questions that he's seen the best he can... If he goes and gives inaccurate information because he doesn't know, you'll just be mad at him later on.

Understandable to be frustrated about delays, but talk about taking it out on one rep... :o

Wish they'd indicated in the first place they'd prioritise the US so blatantly. But I guess they didn't want customers in Europe to know that.

Ive actually had a £19 refund and upgraded to saturday delivery switching to the MSI armor OC, which is due in today

Put it this way, I just dumped my FTW for it! Wish I had done it yesterday now! 12th in the que. 10 arriving today and some more on Monday (fingers crossed). Basically faster, cooler and quieter.

Also OC are selling £76 cheaper than elsewhere!!
