We have no news on other brands until Monday sorry.

MSI arrived today, but it was more Gamers and Armours.

Gigabyte have more 1080 due next week, Zotac also.

Asus I really do not know, the near 50 promised for this week have still not arrived and no update on the next amount.

The twitter post of 1000 this week seems to have being a complete lie or has being delayed, Asus just seem to be digging a bigger hole as they are proving to be the worse company with ETA updates and stock volumes shipping and then cause huge issues when they post false statements on twitter.

Hopefully they are just behind and next week the large shipments will come through.

The system works by date order, so that means people can change the card to another brand and it slots in at their original order date.

We feel its the fairest way as they already paid their money, so the system just focuses on original date ordered.

MSI and Gigabyte in fairness has being totally awesome on this launch, they have shipped us so much stock it is crazy in comparison to other brands. :)

Yes MSI have messed up on Aero shipments, but no one is perfect and Gigabyte had the packaging issue on Extremes.

I believe Ben was probably talking about EU shipments.

Here at OcUK, MSI have shipped more 1080 custom than any other board partner with over 500 custom 1080 cards shipped from OcUK so far. :)

Gigabyte is 2nd with just under 400pc custom 1080 shipped from OcUK so far, G1 literally sold out today, more due next week though. :)

Third place actually goes to Palit, with 300pc shipped from OcUK so far.

4th is a tie between EVGA and Inno3D with 150 custom 1080 units shipped from OcUK.

Gainward is 5th! :)


I am talking only about OcUK custom 1080 shipments out of our warehouse, FE cards is far far higher with Zotac being number one at 1000 units shipped into OcUK and we have just under 300 left in stock. :)

Ask Ben, he said 50 had shipped, he told me 50 had shipped.

Warehouse has being told to investigate and check paper work, either missing, short shipment or booking in error.

OcUK has already shipped several Strix OC 1080 cards in previous weeks, this lot of 50 incoming is not our first batch.

We had 8, then 14 and then 10. Plus 33 due early next week.

Asus I have to say absolutely shocking, stating 1000 were coming into the UK a week ago, turns out they actually meant 1000 cards including all Pascal so 1070's as well which now makes more sense as we had 300 units of 1070 Strix cards delivered.
 
Hi there

There won't be any updates guys today unfortunately, Taiwan was hit by Typhoons end of last week which meant all work stopped and people stayed at home for safety.

They are back in work today but have a lot of catching up today so any further updates won't be until tomorrow I am afraid.

No offence, but people's saftety comes first, I've being in Taiwan during a Typhoon and yes sometimes they might just get a few plant pots blown over, but other times peoples lifes have being lost.

So they take zero chances, the weather out there can be completely insane and crazy. Safety first! :)

I am sure they shall be back on track very quickly! :)

I believe they do stop, but because the coolers are so big they are super quiet any way. :)

Asus Turbo 1080 in stock, still awaiting updates on Strix cards, we have a few hundred G1 1080 incoming, maybe some people wish to swap their Asus to a G1 (we will do the Gigabyte at the same price as you paid for Asus, even those who paid £619.99, just call sales to swap the order over).

The Zotac is the card I would personally buy over any of the others, only for me the Gigabyte Waterforce or EVGA Classified could potentially rival it but they cost a lot more.

The Zotac has the most powerful yet quietest cooler and they all seem to boost to over 2GHz out the box and OC to around 2.1GHz simply because of the cooler.

Set the fans to keep temperatures sub 60c which it can do whilst still remaining quiet and this is the only card that can pretty much maintain boost clocks over 2GHz during a gaming session.
 
Also, as promised if exchanged rates improved a little (I am taking gamble) I have tweaked a lot of the 1070 prices down!

1080 prices no movement, simply because demand is vastly outweighing any supply still at present, though I am still holding the Palit at £599 which is pretty much our new cost on this card when we re-stock, so the price will go up £30-£40 when we bring in new stock to bring it on parr with other FE price levels.
