** OcUK HAS 21 CUSTOM GTX 1080 MODELS READY FOR PRE-ORDER !! **

A no idea would be much better than just ignoring me. :(

Ben already replied in this thread, but more details on Hybrid and Classified will come by the end of this month, so we expect shipments to start early August potentially.

Well, why would you want to pay that amount for the strix when you can get better performance, better cooling, more quiet and 2 years more warranty from the Zotac lol

Asus charge more, but yes I'd take the Zotac everytime, Zotac has the superior cooler compared to any other 1080 and 1070, the AMP Extreme is my personal card of choice.

I've seen you and many others state that hitting 2k clocks isn't an issue, so why would asus be having these problems?

The clocks manufacturer state are the hard BIOS boost clock, as such the card never drops below this and will achieve this typically even at 80c. The moment they are below 80c they run above the stated clocks.

So it is not impossible for say a completely stock Strix 1080 out the box if it has a good ASIC to boost over 1900MHz or even 2000MHz, so pretty much the boost clocks of the OC part.

The difference is the OC parts due to having its hard boost clock set much higher means at lower temperatures it could be hitting 2.1GHz plus and this is the issue the amount of Pascal GPU that can do 1900MHz plus at 80c are few and far between, yield is very low.

Of course in real world use most of these after market cards with larger coolers run around 65c so run far faster than advertised clock speeds. :)

Friday ! dont be saying that Gibbo I was under the impression there are 2 shipments coming this week ! And both should be with you before thursday . Has this changed ?

That is why I ask Ben for updates, so he will post the correct information.

Still nothing on the 40 FTW that were meant to arrive yesterday ? Our bonus shipment seems to have vanished into thin air .This really is a painfull process and I can't wait until it's all over .If and when that ever happens

Warehouse have just booked them in, they were here yesterday, just crazy busy with 1060 launch.

The good news is I am on allocations from Friday last week for all of Europe as my boss is away on holiday.

Was only tiny the stocks on the EU online store as we are prioritising backorders at the moment around Europe.

Only customers reporting this to us are receiving the stocks to clear as quickly as possible. As you will see more stock into OCUK this week as I have taken control of this since last Friday :)

Ben

Ben 1080 SC, FTW, Hybrid, Classified just send the entire EU stock to OcUK warehouse, we can sell it no issue. ;)

Hi there

The missing 33 units of Strix OC that were due nearly two weeks ago, finally arrived today, the orders are shipping.

EVGA shipment, I will go look for later, I suspect they are here and just not booked in.

im starting to consider this GeForce GTX 1080 G1 Gaming RGB 8192MB GDDR5X PCI-Express Graphics Card (GV-N1080G1 GAMING-8 and paying the extra as im pretty fed up with the ****ing horse **** treatment we have been getting, anyone have any feed back on that card ?

Don't !

Asus Gamer Strix 1080 are in stock, 100 units, we can change you over to this at whatever the price was you paid for your OC. Exact same card just slightly lower clocks, but out of the box it still boost to the OC clocks anyway.

Gaming SKU is GX-409-AS but is hidden on the site at present and only available to customers who pre-ordered the Strix OC, call us and we can change your order to this no issue and get it out today. :)
