 I was told by CS that they ( X3 1080 ) were due in today

Gibbo said this yesterday:

"So tomorrow we have this arriving:

Zotac: ALL SKU's, with plenty of 1070 Extreme spare!
KFA: ALL SKU's but only 1070 Blower spare!
Inno3D: All SKU's but pretty much everything all pre-sold!
OcUK/PNY: 1070 FE's!
Palit: All SKU's and plenty spare!

Of course this is depending on couriers and our warehouse booking in, tomorrow is best case, so Friday worse case."

I think the dependency on courier/warehouse booking in is a big factor. Tomorrow might still be our lucky day.

Warehouse informs me truck only just arrived and delivery is huge, over 500 Zotacs, all will be booked in tomorrow AM and nearly 500 Palit cards too. Some proper volumes though MSI have shipped us now well over 1k units which is why they often show in stock. :)

You reckon I have a good chance of getting a 1070 GameRock Premier if I pre-order now?

I think you must be talking about Flounders edition Ben because I've had an FTW pre-ordered since May 27th and still don't have one.

I don't think I've seen anyone in the UK with an FTW or SC?

I wasn't aware the waiting list for the FTW was so big when I placed an order today in the jungle. Since I'm the impatient type, I've cancelled that order and bought a Palit Gamerock through OCUK which is due to be delivered tomorrow.

FTW was my first choice, but the Gamerock will at least match my white and blue build I'm planning.

Unfortunately next business day on a Friday means Monday, even if I am super lucky.

e: I mean, I have been waiting for a month and I can wait longer, this week I'm just really feeling it because I had some leave booked.

Is it me or is the Gouging getting a bit ridiculous now...The £ is rising, yet the Gaming X 1080 in the last 24 hours has done this

£655.99 - £669.99 - £679.99. Heck I don't mind a bit of profit, but that's ridiculous.

So that is totally not EU related. Bearing in mind I am sure these cards were £619.00 on pre-order, that's £60 on each card sold now.
Well the weird thing is, the prices for 1080 are going up, ocuk says because of dollar/pound, but prices of 1070 are pretty much the same as when they launched.
Checking the prices of competitors.... 1080s are much cheaper if you look somewhere else.
Theres something else going on, supply and demand most prolly and not this dollar thingy......
This and this... Wanted to buy EVGA 1080 FTW from OCUK. Don't see it happening anymore unless the prices go down to where they should be. :o
