Well if you only ship 8 cards at launch it will be flying off the shelves. :eek:

Then the shipments after also only small quantities.

EVGA only ship 40 cards when there is a queue over 100 waiting? That is quite simple, insufficient manufacturing.
 
The information is wrong for the GIGABYTE GEFORCE GTX 1080 XTREME WATERFORCE .. it has 8+8 connectors and not 8+6 ..

Asus are really p*ssing me off .. im still waitong for my Strix OC card .. this is ridiculous

Gibbo .. when is MSI 1080 gaming Z going to arrive?

I guess the problem is that a lot of people have ordered cards at very good pre-order prices so they'd rather wait.

Its interesting to go back to page one to see how much the cards were originally before all this mess.

At least 40 on the 1080 FTW coming in this week, this is the minimum amount as not quite finalised yet, will keep you all updated when shipment made.

Hi

I still need to look into this tomorrow as no one else is working on Sunday. Gibbo confirmed the paperwork said 40 so looks like a mis-calculation on my side when breaking down the stock allocation for Northern Europe.

I will confirm Monday and then aim to make up the shortfall from elsewhere this week if it is the case only 40 were shipped.

Oh Beeeeeennnnnn, can you please give a rough ETA on more of the 60mm HB Bridges? I've got my two 1080 FTWs arriving at work tomorrow but cant find anything in the right slot size for my Asus board.

Thanks for working hard to keep us all up to date, it's really appreciated matey.
 
Because of people in the asus queue switching Ive went down nearly 50 places in the 1080FTW queue in 4 days and now it seems only 40 cards coming this week ! I know its not your fault personally Ben but seriously what is going on it'll be august before I get my card at this rate . This has been soul destroying

If its the same guy i have seen on twitter its stock of 50 or even 10 which then sell out straight away,

Bearing in mind thats for the whole world, of course 10 are going to sell out in minutes............

It's so strange...
In Poland there's no chance to get FTW in this month, but Asus and Palit + Gigabyte are just in every bigger online shop. MSI is showing up too. So fu**ed up lol

Asus I have to say absolutely shocking, stating 1000 were coming into the UK a week ago, turns out they actually meant 1000 cards including all Pascal so 1070's as well which now makes more sense as we had 300 units of 1070 Strix cards delivered.

Is that 33 the only expected Strix 1080 OC shipment next week? If so, then at queue number 56 I can resign myself to basically the last week of July at the earliest. Bloody Hell :rolleyes:
