So there is 40 minimum FTW this week, do you have an ETA? Will it be Thurs / Fri? I really should get it this time as I was 51-55 in the queue last time so I missed the first batch by 1-5 places, meaning I should now be 1-5 in the queue for the 2nd batch. Thanks
 
Starting to second guess if I even want this strix now with how long this is taking. The more time it takes the more likely it is ill either just cancel the order or return it once delivered.

If you are in a position to do so, I would buy another and sell or return the Strix if or when it turns up

Pre-ordered May 27th at 10pm @ STG£619 (€835 at pre Brexit ExR £1/€1.35)
Selected 'Pay by Amazon' so Visa Card won't be charged till it ships
Current price STG£749 (€877 at Post Brexit ExR of £1/€1.17)
However my locked in price of STG£619 at Post Brexit ExR I'll be charged at is €725. Hence I'm in till the bitter end even if it means my May 28th Rift remains in its box unused till I eventually get a GPU.

I know they sent 10 as some sort of token gesture of their existence, but for people further down in the queue is there any update?

The recently updated store page ETA of 29th July seems to be for existing orders as well.

The graphics card market seems to be the only one where companies don't know what they are making or what they are sending anywhere.
 
Hi there

There won't be any updates guys today unfortunately, Taiwan was hit by Typhoons end of last week which meant all work stopped and people stayed at home for safety.

They are back in work today but have a lot of catching up today so any further updates won't be until tomorrow I am afraid.

Oh no.

That's going to make lots of per-orders very upset even further then they were already.

If this isn't a sign to switch GPU's I don't know what is?

It was 1 day and there is nothing to switch to that is in stock anyway.

tbh I feel for all you people still waiting, if the rumors are correct with a Titan being announced in August, I couldn't keep waiting for my 1080, heck as I knew I was only getting my 1080 FTW in July that made me cancel as I thought what was the point now? might as well wait for the next release. and for people STILL waiting I know Titan will be more expensive but surely it's worth waiting till August see if it does get announced? from prices to availability this launch has been a joke!

No offence, but people's saftety comes first, I've being in Taiwan during a Typhoon and yes sometimes they might just get a few plant pots blown over, but other times peoples lifes have being lost.

So they take zero chances, the weather out there can be completely insane and crazy. Safety first! :)

I am sure they shall be back on track very quickly! :)

What I can't comment on the forums? If I was the Asus preorder people I would switch. I was having a hard time waiting the time I waited already. Feel sorry for the others they have to wait even longer
