** OcUK HAS 21 CUSTOM GTX 1080 MODELS READY FOR PRE-ORDER !! **

I ordered a Zotac Amp Extreme. How do I know where I am in the queue?

Also no money has been taken from my account.

If you go to OcUK Customer Service > OcUK Customer Service > Order Queries, you can ask your position in the queue (just post your order number in the post). Not sure about money being taken as mine was from paypal

WTF i hope this is not true, the robbing gets, nearly £700 notes for a new card and they can't even provide the cable routing add on, I would like EVGA REP to come up with some sort of excuse why this is not included.

well i watched a you tube video, some sort of tech show, anyway im pretty sure the reviewer states that the evga led cable management accessory will only be issued with classified models, even though if it an extra charge it wont cost much, but it makes the build much more nicer, im just waiting for the aftermarket models to kick in, all of these fancy led gpu look really cool

I hope Ben keeps us updated on stock? Would like a progress report every other day on stock arriving here at OCUK. 1000's of us have paid lots of money and getting little info.

Dates are still very vague?

Hi Simon

Sorry weekend of travel back from Taiwan and then some time with the family.

I will keep updates coming but don't have anything additional at this stage.

The dates I highlighted are the first stock delivery dates, so the first units arriving at OCUK. This is usually around batches of 40-50 units on the first rounds. Will endeavour to give updates every 48 hours or if news changes.

Ben

Hey Ben, I know it's a bit early but do you anticipate the 1070 timeframe to be the same as the 1080 - cards getting to retailers after about 2 weeks? Or is anything being done differently with those?

Thanks

Almost certainly. Buyer's remorse is going to be high with something like this. I know, I had to rush to cancel an EVGA FE order on another website last week.

Nvidia's incompetence on this occasion has probably given a lot of people enough time to think and change their minds.

Turns out OCUK gave me the wrong info originally and I was not 48th in the queue for the FTW but 148th. Nuts!

Guess I'll be waiting a few more weeks for my new card then .... :(

Hi Trooper

The timeframe will be very similar. So expect to see SC around 2-3 weeks after launch and FTW 3-4 weeks later.

Hi Ben,

I've pre-ordered two FTW but my concerns now are around your relationship with EKWB (or lack there of). Are you able to give any updates as to block partner for the Hydro/blocks in general?

No water cooling is not an option and thus far EK tell me to stick with Asus or MSI...

Cheers!

Thank you Ben. I should be first stock. 19th in queue.

But who is making them and when is my concern...

Ben isn't going to be able to give you any more information, there'll be a public press release when they can... its not like EK have any of the other AIB card blocks out yet either

if you are that concerned then maybe put your order on pause until there is more information from anyone - by the time water blocks are actually available to buy you will probably have all the information and the actual GPU's themselves will be in ready supply so you can just pick up whatever
