** OcUK HAS 21 CUSTOM GTX 1080 MODELS READY FOR PRE-ORDER !! **

i dont think customer service has a clue about the Warehouse stocks or arrivals. only Gibbo can confirm

This is true to an extent, hell even the manufacturers sometimes don't know either, I get surprise shipments all the time.

Here is a picture of one of our booking in areas this morning:

IMG_7530.jpg

This is what was left over from yesterday's madness, still several hundred 1080 and 1070's to book in from Asus, MSI, Gainward.

Fresh deliveries are arriving today also, more MSI and hopefully Zotac/Inno3D.

We have had more staff come in today to try and clear this as the volume of stock to book in is beyond belief, easily well over two million worth of stock to get booked in today and shipped out.

Wish us luck! :)

In that case, CS need to be informed about it.

Gibbo clearly stated changing your card choice puts you to the back of that particular cards queue.

I think that is how it works, but maybe it remembers date ordered, this is really a CS topic and I don't use their software so I no idea how it work. Best calling sales/CS to be 100% sure guys.

Ffs I only ordered the xtreme cos Gibbos said they'd have them this week or next week. Time to start thinking about another switch.

Unless Gigabyte messed up, they shipped me 20 units to arrive end of this week, which are all pre-sold.

Seems odd to not have any nailed down date for them, are Zotac using carrier pigeon for post? :p

Dude we have 100 of shipments incoming from far East, tracking them all is a full time job alone and as they are WW shipments they have no set date, sometimes they take 48hrs and other times they take a week plus due to customs. There is no set delivery for a WW shipment as way to many factors. Truck to plane, plane to truck, truck to customs, customs to truck, truck to OcUK, OcUK to goodsin, goodsin to OcUK shelf, shelf to customer, customer to DPD, DPD to customer.

Way to many factors, hence deliveries arrive as they arrive and I never say an exact date because that would be over promising. The stock will land this week, sit tight, it will be here at somepoint. :)

Gibbo can you please update the 1070 thread as well?
Thanks

I will end of week, I am literally in the dark now, I think in short a lot of cards will be here end of week and next week as I've got so much product now in the air on its way to us. :)

Hi there

Right guys I am away now until late Friday, OcUK has a lot of shipments inbound so sit tight we are working to ship outstanding orders.

I shall be at a NVIDIA conference where I shall be meeting top level NVIDIA execs and CEO's are all board partners. Rest assured I shall be pushing them all very hard for more shipments too OcUK to clear this backlog as quick as possible and get more and more lines showing in stock. :)

Hi there

Just an update, OcUK is now listing 50 GTX 1080's, that's twice the amount of our nearest competitor, infact more! :)

Like a boss!!! :D

In 3hrs time i've got to go passed ocuk, well roughly 1mile from it

Grrrrr, dunno whether to just get a founders and a block and be done with it

Braincell is getting over excited and frazzled

If your blocking it just buy a Founders card, Pascal responds to cooling way more than it does voltage and power phases, this is why custom cards offer small to no advantage when clocking on air and water. An FE card on water will boost to over 2GHz pretty much with no OC and my friends is at 2.2GHz overclocked.

People buy the custom cards more for aesthetics and improved cooling which give higher boost and overclocks due to running cooler. :)

Definitely getting mine for the aesthetics. At the end of the day, the GTX 1080 is a card that beats the Titan hands down and I'm coming from a 650ti lol

16nm process does not like voltage and does not need crazy power or phases when on air or water. :)

What counts is good GPU and good cooling, this is why Gainward did great with GLH as they bin GPUs and their cooler is huge that lowers temps resulting in great boost clocks. :)
