** OcUK HAS 21 CUSTOM GTX 1080 MODELS READY FOR PRE-ORDER !! **

Gibbo, any chance you will be able to use your excellent AIB partnerships to get the new Gigabyte Waterforce 1080 Xtreme? Maybe when you get back from the NVIDIA fun and games :p

I ordered 1000 a couple of weeks ago, but we are not allowed to list it yet due to lack of photography. Should be online end of month with ETA of end of July.

Should be an awesome card! :)

P.S. I shall put online now, those images will do! :D

hope its low price for early preorder too Gibbo .

It is £750.00, so I would hold off ordering, as Gigabyte not confirmed true cost yet.

But I suspect it will be around £30-£50 more than Extreme Premier as this also includes most of the premier stuff like VR bay etc.

@ Gibbo, any news on the MSI Seahawk? I see a couple of poeple receiving them in US now. Currently on Pre for Hybrid but will switch if it comes sooner. After seeing all the DIY threads on Reddit, also tempted to buy FE and FRanketstein my own, but unsure what AIO would fit, anyone can help there either?

Potentially hand full this week, if not next week for sure. :)

We have EK version in stock. :)

And yes Gibbo, May not be much of a drop in base / boost speeds but V1 gives me more confidence in the chip itself should I choose to try and manually OC even higher than existing clocks.

But again, thank you for keeping us all up to date as much as possible.

Spoke with Inno3D, V2 is for Asia market, V1 is EU/UK market at present. :)

No surprise that the more expensive gigabyte extreme package is the one that will be in stock earliest. =/ Called that last week and sure enough...

Smart tactics, they know people mainly want the card, so on first waves they ship the more expensive pack with the extra bits in that to be honest most people do not need but will pay the £40 more to get the card sooner.

Though I do have to admit Gigabyte have nailed it with the Extreme and Waterforce series having 1936MHz boost clocks, overclocked memory and 4yr warranty. I think these are the fastest out the box cards on the market and also have a great warranty package.

No shipping email for my Zotac Amp edition yet. Hopefully tomorrow. I believe Gibbo said Monday/Tuesday for the Zotac shipment. Interest seems to be a lot lower so hopefully I'm in the first batch. I really feel for people who are hearing July, especially when they ordered so long ago or are running integrated graphics only.

We have lots of product waiting to be booked in, warehouse are working extremely hard to get items booked in, but three containers plus about 50 palits of stock landed today, friggin crazy times......

UK TAM is far smaller than other regions. But the reality is UK over performs its TAM everytime at new GPU launches.

OcUK is number one in whole of Europe for 1080, that says a lot considering our TAM is a lot smaller than countries such as Germany, Russia etc. :)

Gibbo, could we get some photos of the new stock arriving if possible please?

Would be nice to see a 1080 Pyramid ;)

We did this before 1080 launched:

Damn, that is a lot of stock to book in. Poor warehouse staff, hopefully they get to munch on a few packets of haribo while they work. Get the sugar in them, haha!

Warehouse staff have free access to Haribo, it is the only way they can keep going during these mental times of insane graphics launches.

I was hoping to Inno3d in that list, but guessing they are still screwing you guys for a bit :(

I kinda figured your warehouse guys were working their proverbials off!

OcUK Warehouse staff, fueled by monster / red bull / relentless just to keep the masses happy (not to mention the big sticks and holding their pets hostage - possibly cruel but very effective it would appear!)

Inno3D has shipped, could be here, but its a mountain outside and inside, I shall take a picture if I can get down there but right now its hard to even breath let alone move. :D

Well I got a response to my webnote regarding my system build and it appears that system builds are not at the head of the queue. All the received gaming x cards were sent to preorders and I'm at queue no. 16.
Fingers crossed on another shipment this week!

Some systems got Gaming X cards, in queue order with regular orders as I've seen them being built by our SI guys today. :)

Definitely OCUK, competitors which usually sell less are probably rather happy.

I think many people who would never bother with other etailers still checked every UK website (I know I did, then saw the prices and ran back here - like the GLH for 670£).

Maybe some of you will remember this when making remarks on the forum about OcUK being expensive.

Remember the 1080 and 1070 launch where OcUK not only got stock first but on a lot of cards were cheaper, even as much as £100 cheaper.

:)
