just do what we are doing not seeing anyone it sorts that problem out. we have decided we are going to try and spend more time with family and friends after the pandemic
its just a day you could do it any time of the year.

Don't let the secret out. Marketing and PR consultants have been brainwashing the masses for years.

I actually know people who only invite people to occasions so they get presents like birthdays, etc. Otherwise they don't pick up the phone to them unless they need them.

Christmas is for kids in my eyes. But each to their own if you want to make a big deal of it go ahead so long as you aren't hurting anyone else.

I just hope more people will be waste conscious this year. You can bet billions of pounds are wasted over the holidays on uneaten food, unwanted gifts, etc people just buying crap for the sake of it. This should be a time to reflect on the damage we are doing overall as this pandemic has proven the world can be turned upside down at any point.
