They have a 3M backing sticky tape. Just peel it off and it sticks, and it stuck to my crap wood chip paper too (the joys of renting lol :))

Ace Modder, you should charge an entrance fee into your house, its going to start looking like a night club :P

Misses can be bouncer?

What I have for a home nightclub!

What I need!
1. Fruit Machine

Curious, I know you need to mark up prices a little profits etc etc, but these are more than double the price than most places, I guess those Auction House sites have a lot to say for themselves , when they show the identical pictures as yourself, and those sets range from £20-30, amazing profit margins ;)

P.S. I'm all for cool things, gadgets etc, but these are "very" expensive. ( not bitching on you guys, but these are lights, not a 7970 ;) )

Firstly the lights on ebay do not include the mains plug and adapter and the brightness of the LED's are inferior on the cheaper sets.

At the moment, I plan to just stick with the current range, but maybe look at getting 3 meter strips for a lowe price for behind TV's and under desks etc, but they may take a few months yet.

i've seen a set that came from ebay and truth be told i could do a better job with my own soldering iron, a pack of leds and a few resistors. they were very poorly put together and the brightness was god awful. i think the old adage 'you get what you pay for' applies here

Controlled by Logitech Harmony remote?

Used these for awhile for ambient light behind monitor and TV. Can be cut ever little while. There are cut points on them. There pretty good and can be controlled by Logitech remotes.

Great! How did you program it into the Logitech remote? Did you just use the learning feature or is the LED device listed in the Harmony software?

Anyone else been able to use these LED lights with a Logitech Harmony remote? Which model remote do you have?

Also, if I cut the strip in half, I can't quite grasp what to do in order to power the 2nd strip. Is it just a matter of buying a 2nd power supply and some extra bits or is some soldering/wiring skill needed?
