I actually thought Kaiowas might be Mafia, he was unusually quiet yesterday (game yesterday).

Yeah the whole Kaiowas thing was interesting. A couple of theories on that:

1. He was seen as a threat after seeming to do well in the last game... my number 1 suspect Jedi who played the expert card on day 1 and who went strangely missing towards the end of the day. He also praised Kaiowas (among others) at the end of the last game.
2. I thought it was a very, very good Mafia ploy to pick off someone who has been so quiet, uninvolved and not mentioned by anyone at all, he was totally off the radar. That means there was nobody to link his death to. The move of a seasoned player if you ask me!

Unless events prove otherwise Jedi remains top of my suspect list. I'm sorry but Fortyseven, surely only Mafia would jump in at the last second to guarantee a kill? My 3rd is just a hunch but Gooner Leroy is playing a totally different game to last time and was quick to come to the defence of Jedi. One of the only things he contributed.

I can't argue with those theories at the moment. Gooner may or may not be mafia. I think for now he is just trying a different way of surviving

Yeah I can't think of a reason for someone to vote like that at the last minute unless they wanted blood. It's not like he was doing it to save someone else. Very suspicious.

Well yes, that was stupid. Possibly the worst thing I could have done, by far.
I voted for him as it looked like he wanted a last minute push to off Brabbinho, who, although he did something dodgy, was actually trying to get people talking.

And the Mafia left me alive to face the music.

I have to say that Jedi is very high on my suspect list. Points out that both teams would want to off the expert player in order to make people do the opposite?

Anyone who played the previous game have also jumped up on my list due to offing Kaiowas. Although as point 2. above, it is a very clever move.

Also I thought we had an extra day for the first day session so forgot to come and vote which was a little dumb of me!

I think based on what I've read Fortyseven and Jedi have some explaining to do as well. Jedi maybe less so as - I'm not sold on him quite yet....

If he was Mafia why would he want a last minute push on Branninho? Mafia wouldn't care who got offed as long as it was a Townie. If Leprechaun wanted a Townie dead the only option to vote for was me as I was the only other person with a vote and would have guaranteed a kill.

First off, an apology from me, I've been down & out with manflu so haven't been on much.

Now playing catchup and seeing some very interesting comments from a few, if the lynching had been a tie would nobody have died?

Wasn't expecting to see after Jedi putting himself out there that he hasn't posted again, be good to see what his take on the situation is now.

I'll hold my hands up and say that it was a stupid move.

It was a rookie mistake (I only played the first game and got killed quite quickly) and now I feel that the second day will be wasted agruing that I am Mafia or not.

IF I am Mafia then there are 2 others that are too, IF you are looking to hang me, do so, but lets spend the "day" trying to route out others.

To me, it is clear that the Mafia left me alive to make me face this today (possibly amongst other reasons) but I still think it is suspect that they kept Jedi alive, and took out someone who played well in the previous game

I'm going to review the votes and thread when I get an opportunity - hopefully tonight. Right now I'm thinking Egon is Scum, and I don't like Fortyseven's excuse post (#114), but I'm not ready to vote either of them without looking harder at it and without explaining why in more detail than I can give on my lunch break.

If you are mafia, then why would you want to help root out your fellow mafia? Perhaps you're just trying to deflect the attention from yourself to another innocent witch hunt?

To answer the first question, if I was Mafia, I would not want to root out my buddies. I am hoping that you take the opportunity to look for Mafia members instead of concentrating efforts on proving that I am.
If you are totally sold on hanging me then do so, but look elsewhere to not waste the time.

I agree with your second statement entirely.

I have to say a lot of what you've been posting Egon sounds good to me. My only thought would be Fortyseven's awful voting at the end of last night must be a stupid mistake. Surely if he was mafia he wouldn't be so obvious?

At the moment I'm only happy with Egon and Fortseven (at the moment) as being townies.

Also Gooner, but that's only because I feel guilty encouraging a revenge voting after he offed me in the last game so deosn't really count... :eek:

FortySeven does have a point on this one. The Mafia would know we would be pointing the finger at FortySeven and thinking that this is a good opportunity to get another Townie lynched (if he is a Townie). Therefore let us do the job for them while they lynch another Townie in poor Kaiowas.

I'm not happy with anyone at the moment really. Egon is saying a lot that makes sense so I'm prepared to give him some time but my radar is going nuts at fortyseven right now!
