OcUK Mafia game thread - Game 3

We have some decisions to make. I've thought about my vote and I'm still undecided where to put it. But it's between Fortyseven and Jedi.

I think Jedi is mafia based on his past actions. Whereas Fortyseven has given us more of a reason to vote for him. My head keeps switching between the two. Nothing is going to change my mind on these 2 tonight though.

I hope I haven't got this totally wrong, but I just can't believe the lynch was a 'mistake'.

It might just be the way you play the game, but you haven't answered anyone's suggestions you are mafia and I don't buy the tutor stance you have taken so far.

I may have misjudged this horribly, but I have to go with my gut

Sorry for not being very active but between dying of the Black Death and working night shifts I've not really been in a mental state to follow something like this very closely. I'm voting Jedi though purely because he big-upped Kaiowas as having improved and then Kaiowas was the first to be killed. Maybe he is being set up, I'm just going with my instinct on this one though.
 
I'm off out till after the deadline for voting now so I'll throw my hat in so to speak:

I'm not 100% on FortySeven and his innocence but I'm going to go on trust for now, someone else appears far more dangerous to my way of thinking....

I didn't say it was a mistake. I thought it best that we have something to go on rather than just have a draw. I made a gut call on my vote, I was wrong and I did it in the stupidest way imaginable.
 
I still think 47 is mafia. The timing, and the fact he never highlighted Leprechaun as mafia. But still voted for him.

Jedi has been working very hard defending him. Puts you both at the top of my suspect list.

Bearing in mind the current voting, I'm changing my vote to make sure the mafia can't get a draw.

I am going to abstain from voting as whatever I do will be taken the wrong way by someone.

Egon has been pushing against me the whole time, but I can understand why, I just hope it does not reflect badly on him when I do go.

I think shorttricky is a bit suspect, I don't think JeditOjanen has defended me once. Whereas some others have.
 
Right, home from work and can properly read this. I now count:

1 for Egon
4 for Jedi
1 abstain

Leaving 5 more votes including mine. If I vote Jedi then either he goes or there's a draw. Do I believe he's mafia? He has been quick to draw conclusions on people and part of me says this could either be a mafia tactic or he could just be too used to this game and think we're more sophisticated than we are given for most this is at best our 3rd game.

I will say this, I was starting to be suspicious of another person, right now I'm massively suspicious of them but voting for them is not going to change anything.

I'm going to eat dinner, then have a look again and make my decision then.
 
I haven't been 'pushing' against anyone. I have been vocal about my opinions. More vocal than most - there are still some very quiet people playing this game, watching all this unravel.

You are right Jedi hasn't defended you outright, In fact it was Jedi's lack of reference to your actions at all that made me more suspicious of him. There are several reasons I can see to vote Jedi:

1. Playing of expert card on day 1
2. Going missing on day 1
3. The NK of Kaiowas
4. His lack of explanation or denial of just about everything
5. The lack of response to fortyseven's last minute lynch

I've been over and over in my mind of who to vote for, I can't quite believe Fortyseven is going to escape... however I am also voting Jedi.

JeditOjanen voting for Egon is a defence against me?

Only you voted against me, does that mean that everyone else defended me?

Currently, he is getting lynched anyway and I am in no way defending him.

Constantly focusing on me will have the Mafia laughing all the way to a win, and I feel that some that keep directing people towards me are doing so to keep wasting time.

I know that Jedi is (currently) getting lynched today but I hope that it is not because of links to me and I hope that we don't waste the next day going round and round the same circles.
 
Possibly Fortyseven, but you wouldn't say otherwise in your position really. Right or wrong, you've backed yourself into a corner. As for Jedi, some things just don't add up... this for example:

If I vote Jedi he's gone, if I abstain, Jedi is gone. If I vote Egon then there could be a draw, but that relies on at least 2 of the fairly quiet people agreeing with me and I don't think Egon is mafia anyway.

If Jedi is a townie he's already made the point that lynching a townie is helpful to us by definitely revealing his role, if he's mafia then even better. On this basis, and this alone:

The town acts almost with one mind, there is one who seems to know too much, and that person is JeditOjanen. Rounding upon him, he is quickly strung up before the more thorough investigation is carried out.

A house visit, a search of his web browser history and emails reveals nothing.

The sun is rising, and all is set to look like a really beautiful day. Except for the quite brutal murder of shorttricky overnight. There are still a few bits of him that you can't find either.

Well that's something of a surprise - I had Shorttricky under my watchful gaze and was eyeing him up as part of the Mafia!

Fortyseven still has some tough questions to answer but I think I'm going to trust in him for now which leaves 6 names to thoroughly investigate!

My entire gameplan has gone out the window :/
