OcUK Mafia game thread -Game 5

I agree entirely with shami, either Jaystation will post and become involved or he wont and if he doesn't we will always have the question is he lurking, is he town or is he mafial. Im pretty sure we had this last game with pookie i think, and it was a constant sticking point, every voting day someone pointed it out. so.......

I am in a bit of a sticky situation at the moment. Work has been crazy due to redundancies and the like and now I am heading out for the evening.

I agree with Leprechaun, an inactive player will always draw suspicion (I know I'm not helping myself at this stage) so even if they are town then it is good to get them out the way. Rather an inactive townie go than an active one.

Contradicting that, it is unlikely at this stage of us playing, that someone Mafia would be inactive, due to the suspicion it brings.

I think I will vote the inactive player due to the fact that it doesn't help the game either way

I've had 3.5 hours sleep and I am knackered, so I can't contribute intellectually. The last game I started a lynch on 47 on day one because of his inconsistency and it turned out he's just an inconsistent person!

I think no matter what an inactive person is the last thing you want in this game, because it doesn't provide help to the team, or activity to look at to narrow down suspects. I'm off to nandos now, so because of the two things above I will:

vote jay station

Should be back around 9 so I can unvote if a good argument is provided!
 
Feels kind of weird now, the decision is basically made but the discussion continues!

I hadn't previously voted but had indicated I would vote for Jay or Forty. It seems finding the consensus was quite easy today, but I'm not sure how much information we're going to be able to take from today due to the lurking. IMO 1 post in 4 RL days should be replaced by the mod before we're forced to lynch him.
 
Agreed, I would much rather get rid of a lurker than a useful player. I'm just concious of the fact that there's only 7 townies and we're quite likely to lose 2 of us today. Probably too late for iviv to do it especially now that jay's already at lynching point.
 
Well we've got 30 mins if we want to change our minds. I'm going to feel horrible if he turns out to be a townie but the logic is sound and our only other option is really nothing or another stab in the dark (if you'll excuse the pun)

I'll be the first to point out that it was someone who voted for me that went out.

I'll re read everything tomorrow to see if there is a reason Egon would be targeted. I just hope it wasn't to try and set me up.
