the fountain in the middle? id dunno, i dont see why it couldnt remain. the main idea is to move the other buildings away from the centre of spawn, to open it up a bit.

I dont know anything about cuboid :(

cuboid is quite powerful, but it's also difficult to use, especially when you start copying/pasting things. the beta update gimped it slightly too, making the /ccopy & /cpaste commands a bit temperamental.
 
never used hMod's cuboid, but they are tricky to use. especially since you'd have part of the centre of spawn in the cuboid unless you did it in slices (lots more work :P)

It'll also screw with either (or both) the station and the vault entrance.
 
I know nothing about cuboid but as far as I see it, there are two fixed points in spawn, the vaults and the station, both of which have underground links. It's fairly impossible to move spawn symmetrically because of this.
 
i need a volunteer for setting up a forum with phpbb.

Its installed and ready to go, just needs customising etc.

what kind of customization? i tried hacking about in the php in a phpbb before and it didn't go well. had better results with smf/invision though but ya need to *cough* pirates of the carribean *cough* to get those gratis..
 
Windle, can you do something about toString, he comes in and is provoking an argument all the time and sticking his nose in other business that does not concern him and it's pretty annoying when I'm not doing anything wrong.

the station is ok, its only 4 tunnels under the spawn walls. they can be moved easily enough. because the vaults are bed rock though, that can only be sorted by rad.

I'm happy with spawn to stay the way it is, but thinking as a new visitor to the server, it's currently claustrophobic and there are no signs to say where anything is - it's just a bit confusing atm

rizo what needs doing used phpbb for a few years and cant set up boards and groups and set themes, cant design anything but can do admin stuff ok.
 
OK - I'm fairly new to this. Played some basic SP, built a house, mined the basics such as wood, stone, iron ore etc.

Wouldn't mind venturing onto the ocuk server, what are the basic rules, where can I build etc?
 
thx - and call me a complete noob - but how do i chat IG :p

I'm trying the usual stuff but getting nowhere :(
