Are we going to have a rule put in that everything has to look good too? Not that I agree with it.
will, you are building a massive box for a mob spawner. Common courtesy would suggest that putting it well away from everyone else/spawn would be sensible, everyone else seems to have managed just fine. Download the cartograph from the website and have a look!

that area right next to spawn is pretty ugly lol
i mentioned this to garsands and rad and cos it's outside my house i'm expected to fix the whole lot by myself, even though i didn't do any of it. I even mentioned it in this post but got told that i "better get digging" though i assume it because it was me who said about it and that if anyone else had mentioned it, it would have been /cfill'd by now.
The torch marked area you see there is where i want to put the arena. I'm slowly chipping away at it but i at least need to level it off before i can even think of placing a block. Edit: which will take longer that life by myself.

Well if people are taking resource from this location they should do it in a way that levels it!

Windle, I was not on about my box being moved. I was on about anything in general, like some dug up ground, or holes in the sea.

i'll be having at it tomorrow now as i have a diamond pick and shovel. I'll be concentrating on the area within the torches while the area outside will just be grassed off. Any help would be greatly appreciated, and the area is rich in coal, so it might be worthwhile to someone who has very little coal.
Edit: just one thing though; i've got a massive mine/cave complex under my house and i dunno but there's a chance that anyone helping me could dig out the wrong block and fall to a unfortunate end. I know it does go under furburger's house (naturally, not on purpose by me) and it reaches under the castle thing with the massive walls on the other side of my house and i *think* it goes under spawn, not 100% sure.
