Why not come up with a better way to monitor the server?

Logs track every single movement right? Every use of fire, lava, every step taken by every player...

So:

Put together a spreadsheet on Google where people 'claim' the space their building consumes- like a 'greifwatch' sheet. Put in the 'boundry' (xyz-xyz grid ref) of the building.

Next, develop a script that pulls entries out of all user's logs against every grid ref in the xyz boundries. I might even be able to do this for you if you post a sample of the logs up.

If someone sees their building get greifed, all they have to do is input their co-ords and some time reference as arguments to the script and then should be able to get a list of all movements in that area since time x.

Some of that sounds pretty possible, though default logs don't actually catch that much. However, I should be able to look at the sql tables for BigBrother and LogBlock to see if there's something I can pull together.

It won't be immediately though.
 
Don't really understand Minecraft. I played the broswer version and I had unlimited bricks of all sorts, no mobs nothing. Can someone break down the game to me please?

I've been testing out the log block on the server atm and no matter what, we cannot get any results out of it.

in the mai none you have to dig/make everything.

LogBlock is logging but I've not enabled the commands for normal players yet. Completely forgot sorry. I'll sort it out later today.

I can confirm that it definitely *is* logging, though (as is BigBrother).
