OcUK Minecraft Server - Rules & Chat

Cool thanks, apparently new members here need to be activated by admins, so he is waiting for that. (is this new, can't remember if this was the case when I registered)...
 
I'm going to be updating the server over the next hour or two. There will be a period of extended downtime (probably 20-30 minutes) at some point.

The LinkTart website will probably be down for a short period too.
 
Server Update

* Bukkit updated to build 766
* McM removed for now
* toString re-added to the whitelist (see below)

toString has been WL'd again as the reason for his ban on here wasn't due to antisocial behaviour. Please DO NOT attempt to discuss the ban on here or on the server.

I got minecraft at the weekend and have just signed up to LinkTart. Could I put in a request to be whitelisted please? Minecraft name: mfrost67.

Just registered on linktart so will register for the server asap :)

I might just forego a pizza as well to donate some money, I still remember the lan party you hosted a few years back at the TA centre in Rusholm, was a good laugh!
 
Not sure if anyone is interested or not but here it goes, I'm sure some of you are fans of the Yogcast Minecraft series and have probably already seen their latest Crazy Golf videos but for those who haven't here you go:


I was wondering if some of the OCUK community would like to build our own course? I and the other admins would provide the Ice needed to create the grass surface. Just thinking this would be a good idea for people to let off the steam and go all creative as mini-gold courses need some crazy buildings/statues surrounding them. Not sure where this is going to be built yet (if there is interest) but I will make sure it's easily accessible for all players to play :D

Ah yeah. It's a shame we don't do those anymore :)

Weird, the registration seemed to go through fine before, got to the avatar bit. I tried registering again using the same details and it went through fine again to the avatar section.

But oddly no emails anywhere, the email is definitely correct :confused:

Edit : All good :) cheers. Weird it didn't do it the first time.

Some people have had issues receiving mail.

What username and display name do you want on there (not your MC username - you add that later)? I will just manually create your account for you instead.
 
Seems it went through fine in the end :) Cheers! registered and added myself to the group under the username vaderdsl :)
