Right im so fed up of trying to find my house on the Map I am now ready with the upload, what would be cool as well if we could have 1 map with everyones house on it, would be great for exploring

I was thinking about that earlier, especially as my house is designed not to be noticed from the outside (unless you could the lava and black obelisk on top of the mountain). It'd be very handy as I have no neighbours that I know of within view distance and don't want someone blowing a hole in the 2 block thick walls of my hollow mountain!

Oh and guys - if you take cobble from my chests can you drop something in? a couple of bits or iron is all I'm after, it'll speed me up getting more seeing as I'm now onto stone tools :D Now those I'm not going to run out of anytime soon!

I dropped you a set of dim tools dude, without your freebie chest my spawner would have taken even longer than it did to finish!!!!!!!!
 
I forgot to pester notch on Twitter prior to 1.6 to ask him if he could do something about dungeon loot to make it worthwhile. As it stands, it is a complete joke.
 
Hey guys, if you are going to be changing the maps, can you save my and Frankie's build please. My sittuation at work changed and I am finally coming back to UK at the end of next month! But the down side is that I nede to sort out lots of things and ship my crap back to UK (so not going to be very active). Will give coords shortly (updated minecraft at home)

Can a mod advise on the best tool for copying structures from one server map to another, in the same way as was done when the current map was created?
 
We're not going to be setting up a new map anytime soon so don't worry about that.

In regards to moving stuff, a combination of worldedit and mcedit was used last time.

1.6.6:

+ Added a new use for bonemeal
* Changed the material of glowstone from “glass” to “stone”. This means you need a pickaxe to get resources from it
* Made glowstone drop more loot
* Made the recipe sizes for creating cloth blocks and glowstone blocks smaller (2x2 instead of 3x3)
* Re-introduced unlimited FPS, renamed the option again
* Fixed beds not working very well at all in SMP
* Fixed destroying a boat spawning the player too low, causing them to sometimes fall through the ground
* Boats float up to the surface quicker
* Boats falling down into water lose their vertical momentum very fast
* Removed Herobrine
