OcUK Minecraft Server - Rules & Chat

Disappearing block bug is still around, seems far more regular though. Anything you do after you've glitched is lost too - so if you destroy blocks using a pick when you relog they're all back but oddly the server keeps your location at log out. I've noticed a couple of ways you can see if you've glitched.

1. Place a torch, if the block vanished you've glitched.
2. Walk into an area you've cleared blocks, if you take damage you've glitched (suffocation awaits if you stay still).
3. Some blocks will "jump" around at random and can't be picked up even if there's space in your inventory.

Most importantly - log out away from where you were mining, you dont' want to log back in and find the blocks around you are back.

It's almost as if the server loses sync with the client, although text chat continues to work and the client allows you to keep playing as long as you stay away from the area of the blocks you're actively removing
 
FFFUUUUU. Just upgraded to 1.6.6. Logged in only to realise that dogz are now bugged and get trapped in glass enclosures. You have to destroy the glass to get them out, but then more get stuck in the same manner :/

That'll prolly happen one day. I'll most likely end up logging in on one random day and it'll be like a horror film with all the dogz bouncing up and down, trapped in the glass.
 
Kept getting massive lag spikes, and then the dogz DOUBLED in size just as Freddie tp'd in.

Edit: Given up. Seem to be getting very frequent lag spikes atm, and can't even get out of my home without bumping into things. Going to check the MC forums to see if it is a 1.6.6 issue.

Gazza - am off for the evening now (missus).

I've tested the railway junctions and with the new update, they seem to work well if you have 5-6 powered boosters right before you hit the raised block near the button, and if the rail and the raised block is replaced with an unpowered booster; seems to give it just enough oomph to get on to the slope!

Not done all of them yet - Parmoking's, my robot, the airport, and the one for spawn have all been done.
 
had a few issues last 2 days, blocks being added then disapearing then coming back etc, today i found a whole chunk of land not loaded / missing. it suffocated me then when i went back to it it had filled itself.

This one too? I had that when I first got minecraft but that might of just been with an early version, hopefully FT can delete you from the server then re add you to see if that helps for a longer period this time!

Tried that as well. Been deleted twice. Still same. So damn frustrating.
